Washington Post music critic Chris Richards wrote up Saturdays Earth Day festivities on the national Mall on the front of Mondays Style section. The headline was At Earth Day rally, it was the message that needed saving.
Richards liked the music, but didnt like the talking. For example: The events hosts, newscaster Soledad OBrien and Black Eyed Peas bandleader Will.I.Am, appeared to have a rough time of it. OBrien, either frustrated by glitchy teleprompters or perhaps not clear on how a concert works, actually shushed the crowd at one point.

Ya, I wonder what the carbon footprint of this celebration of the environment and mother earth was............
Isn’t Soledad now a professor of media at Harvard?
Mother Earth cried!
How dare she shush the crowd, who does she think
she is.....Hillary! Clinton?
Well, I did have to stand corrected about the on stage performances. Apparently they WERE solar powered. Can’t confirm that but probably the means of getting to and from the event..............probably NOT solar powered. Probably nobody wore any synthetic apparel either. :>} You know. The stuff made from byproducts of......wait for it.....PETROLEUM! Noooooooooooooooo!
Oh no. Much better. “OBrien the former CNN newscaster, now is mostly freelancing for al-Jazeera America and its tiny viewership. On Saturday night, her latest documentary Kids Behind Bars aired on the Qatari-owned network.”
Will.I.Am should change his name to Will.He.Was
...which has been outlawed for the vast majority of uses for almost 40 years...
People like Soledad have zero self-awareness: Accepting a salary from oil sheikdoms while lecturing the rest of us on “green energy”.
” shushed the crowd at one point”
Both of them?
Well if you’re using a “lead sprayer”, it’s still in use. Oh, wait. That’s those lead spraying bullet hoses aka ass-ault wee-pons. Never mind. (We used “red lead” to paint the bilges in the engine room in the late 60’s. Does that count? Or maybe it’s the cause of any issues I may have. Hmmmm)
LOL! And neither one of them yelled back FU 1% bi**h.
