Entries are piling up for a slogan contest being held this year by the North American Manure Expo.

The trade show, now in its 13th year, showcases the latest technology in manure handling, treatment and application. It's being held in July in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

An official event slogan has already been settled on: "2015 Manure Expo: Manure than you can Handle!" It will appear on the front of a T-shirt.

Current congressmen are not allowed to enter.

They spew all the time, it would not be fair.

Orin Hatch, before he got absorbed by the Washington establishment, used to tell a story about his visit to the south to stump for a challenger in a congressional district which had never elected a Republican.

They found a friendly farmer who allowed them to host an event. His manure spreader wasn't being used so he invited Hatch to climb aboard to address the crowd.

After Hatch's pep talk was well received, several of the people in the crowd remarked that they've never even seen a Republican before. Hatch quipped back "And I'll bet the rest of you have never seen one speak from a Democrat platform!"

Kinda sounds like an old barershop quartet song, “She was the stablemaster’s daughter, and all the horsemen knew her”.
