Skin not dark enough? Heck Many Indians have dark skin too.

I think that it is because that while they are probably a 'minority' they have the drive and capacity and intelligence to fairly compete against others. This is THEIR belief.

Our very history with traditional minority preference (quotas, action and preferential emphasis) dictates preference be given to those who cannot compete fairly.

Their whole system of race and "the card" is built around concocting reasons, developing programs and special legislation and compensation for all manner of everyday life's challenges because we are all racists. And, to allow 'Asians' to glom onto that progress just isn't in their cup of tea. That's why.
