Where’s the little girl?
if find this is also the reaction of liberals...
it is amazing to watch the left head full tilt toward supporting segregation to protect women and minorities from competing with white males
also kind of hilarious
Too funny!
Letterman’s father.
All I know is that the guy is undisciplined.
He took advantage of boss-underlings relationships in the lab, then blame the others (i.e. girls) for his emotion turmoil.
Why would you imply scientists are as mature as a biker rock band?
A lot of us will fall in love with a coworker. This sort of thing has been going on for a long, long time.
I’ve worked in offices where things worked exactly like this. The bosses hired a good number of the female employees based primarily on looks and willingness to dress and act like sluts. Very distracting, even for me, and I wasn’t interested, being very married.
Most of the guys were constantly distracted. The females who weren’t in the sexiness competition were pissed off by its existence and offended they weren’t invited. Bad all round.
The office I’m in now everybody leaves the sex for after work. MUCH better. Some very attractive females work here, but they’re professional about it.
Guy must be a real stud if women are falling in love all over the place.
Well, i think the Biker Rock Band is MORE mature, as we have not fallen for the AGW Scam! LOL!
I went to a “Boys School” that was in the same building as a “Girls School”. The horror. We even had separate restrooms.
Well, I’m guessing if everyone in the group is religious, chances of “sexual” friction happening go down quite a bit.
Not foolproof, but it helps! LOL!
It also helps that we are all political conservatives.
One of the sins of liberalism is giving priority to they who feel the most.
The most upset person, the angriest person, is presumed the most correct.
Instead of teaching women to argue logically, have tons of facts, justify their position, it becomes “I’m offended”, and then it comes down to who is most upset, cries the most or meets the most demographic check boxes.
I’m a female engineer, and I have had to lecture younger women about the fact that you’re emoting more doesn’t make you more right, giving me more emotional emphasis and hysterics doesn’t win an argument. Third wave (or whatever) feminism gives emotions and narratives the most weight, versus first generation saying we’re mentally equal, control yourself, be logical like the guys.
Incidentally, the worst fights I’ve had in the workplace were with transgenders. Its rights to use the bathroom were greater than my right to privacy. It telling me how to dress and act more “feminine” were offensive. It challenged me to go to women’s only luncheons with it, which I declined. I said I didn’t want to take time from work to socialize, and it wasn’t a woman, and going to lunch by myself was redundant. It finally demanded to know what made me more of a woman than it. “I gave birth twice.” It went ballistic and made work a nightmare. I gave HR a nightmare for filing a sexual harassment claim on it, but no one has the right to sit there and describe in detail the surgical procedures, while I’m trying to eat my lunch at my desk to have privacy. It acted like modern feminists, its feelings of offense being its primary weapon to HR. That I could detail how it directly impeded work, such as extending an outage by not helping me, I won. But it shouldn’t have come to that.
I don’t think we need segregated work places for men vs. women. It should be liberal versus conservative.
Note: The only segregation I have had in the lab was when pregnant with my first, and the boss went hysterical when I had morning sickness - “For the love of god, do NOT throw up in the clean room!” For the next weeks after that, I was reassigned so that that didn’t happen.
Oh my god I agree with this guy. Nobody is saying women should not be in science but separating them, like bathrooms, is a good idea for the reasons he stated,
Honestly, I only like to work with men. I work with a bunch of women and I know why there are stereo types! They carry on and on and on and I just dont have the patience for it especially in the work place.
I know its not a popular opinion especially coming from a woman. My parents taugh me my opporunities were great. I’ve worked hard. I am not at work to straighten out my personal life gosh darn it. VENT.
Almost forgot I recently heard a father talk about the difference between raising a girl and raising a boy.
The girl was like raising three children in one.
The boy was like raising an old cat. Speaks volumes.
My point is the sexes are very different by design.
Thanks
Heh, good one!
Good classic early Dilbert.
