That sucks, because you know they don’t have a dozen lav’s on that jet.............
A loooooong flight for everybody.
Ugh, those poor people. Sounds like food poisoning, or a very nasty flu bug. On an airplane (cramped spaces and very limited facilities for ah “managing the symptoms” of one’s sickness), no less.
Glad they’re all okay now, but man, that had to be one miserable flight for all involved...
Did they have the steak or the fish?
Surely, you can’t be serious?
Ahh yes, I had the lasagna.
Don’t call me Shirley
That is not the right reply.
You should have said, “Yes, I’m serious. And don’t call me Shirley.”

This is Fiji Airlines. They had the long pig.
The fava beans & Chianti should have clued them.
It’s generally not a good idea to eat for the 36 hours right before a long flight from a country with questionable food quality - the 36 hours gives your body enough time to react if poisoned, so you can (hopefully) get a later flight once recovered. Once on the flight it’s fine, both because the food is usually better maintained, but more importantly, you’ll be home before the symptoms kick in.
That's what they get for calling Fiji instead of Phoenix.
I bet you it’s norovirus
