Sad truth is if his name was on the ticket in Chicago he would probably win again next year.

Representative government ensures that most of the time the representative does indeed represent the values of the MAJORITY of the VOTERS in his district. (Explaining how Sheila Jackson Lee keeps getting re-elected, and how NY and MA's congressional delegations are consistently the most anti-freedom statist delegations to the Kongress)

Re: Jackson, 50, pleaded guilty in 2013 to misusing about $750,000 in campaign funds to pay for his family’s lavish lifestyle. According to court documents, the Jacksons made dozens of personal purchases using campaign funds, including: memorabilia autographed by Michael Jackson, Eddie Van Halen, and Bruce Lee; fur coats and capes; two stuffed and mounted elk heads; a $43,500 Rolex; vacations to Disney World and Martha’s Vineyard; various electronics; gym memberships; their children’s private school tuition; and more.

Even with all that he did I am still shocked that he didn't get away with it. Don't most members in congress end up as multimillionaires? And with being the son of Jesse Jackson, that alone should have given him immunity in Chicago. So what happened? Did he get an obviously “biased” white jury and judge to wrongfully convict him? Or did he get some of the Democrat leadership really mad at him?

so strange - they forgot to mention his $8,000/month for life federal disability pension.

poor guy was bi-polar. daddy took care of him and checked him into the hospital for treatment.

I notice that quite a bit. I think it’s the product of writing on computers. They change their mind about the word they want to use, and neglect to delete the previous one.

#13 There are people with real disabilities who are not criminals yet this crook gets $8,700 per month in disability payments and will receive a federal pension of $45,000 per year once he reaches 65.”

so he “only” steals $104,000/year for the next 15 years then he has to scrape by on $45,000/year.

the judge or board who approved his “disability” pension should be chained up and put away for life.
