Sounds like someone found a new way to market goose shells.

Good idea! I was thinking slingshots, too. But they are illegal here.

A xmitter w/ a parabolic antenna that can be aimed. One or two watts would likely be plenty.
In the 2.4gmhz spectrum.(I think that’s the frequency)
Overpower the receiver.

Like the “Zombie” loads... Just one of the regular loads with different packaging and a slight markup over the stuff that comes in standard packaging. Marketing gimmick; Cute but without providing extra value or improved performance.

I was thinking super soaker.

Ooh, that's a great idea.
A powerful hose, maybe with a boost, to blind and disorient the drone, and possibly bring it down too.
Best part: It's not illegal to spray water even in no-gun townships.

Is a firearm necessary? How about an arrow trailing several weed whacker cords, fired from a powerful compound bow with its aiming device & release trigger? Object: entanglement. Makes no noise, breaks no laws. Upon launch, anyway.

Yeah but I can shoot allot further and more accurately than I can throw.

Actually where it’s probably going is the same path as surveillance. Once upon a time people complained but it didn’t help and they got used to having cameras everywhere.

Naw, I use paint ball gun, reasonable range and accuracy and it is not against the law to use one inside city limits. Drones mostly exhibit a nice stable target and the paint ball only has to hit any part, including just one of the blades. If you miss and the ball hits a neighbors house, no damage, no foul and it washes off with water.

Just standard non-lead goose shot, size #2 steel, 3-inch shells, nothing special here.

I made some loads with fine wire and split shot crimped on the ends. No idea what kind of distance it would get (shot it at cardboard targets about 15 yards), but you could see it spin like a bolo.

Obviously there is a market for this if Walmart is selling them.

But...a bow & arrow is silent.

Think for a moment: suppose Robin Hood had carried a rifle in Sherwood Forest.

If he shot twice, the Sheriff of Nottingham would know right where he was!

Yes, that’s the one. Quick strike punched the drone out of the sky.
