SAUGET, Ill. (KMOV.com) -
Police have a suspect in custody after a man was fatally shot over a spilled beer in Sauget Saturday morning.
According to police, Lamarc Robert Garrett, 29, of St. Louis was taken into custody for his alleged involvement in the death of Oscar C. Casiano, 26, of the 2800 block of California.
Three men were getting beer and gas at a Phillips 66 gas station around 5:30 a.m. when a man approached them asking for a beer, police said.
An argument occurred and the beer fell to the ground, spraying the suspect, authorities said.
