Remember that ending scene out of Indiana Jones where the Ark of the Covenant is boxed up and wheeled through an endless government warehouse?

Did you know that that place actually exists?

There are probably more things about our government that we DON’T know than we do. That in itself is scary.

It’s not “our” government any more. It’s “their” government.

There’s also a “treasure room,” of sorts called Area 51 in Nevada. All kinds of priceless “artifacts” have been stored up there and many of them fly.

The photo essay at the source link is well worth the offsite click. (And you won’t hear me saying that very often.)

Thanks for posting. With our present administration these treasures and particularly the art will never be viewed even if a museum is built. Too much of it is patriotic.

You will get to “see it all” if the National Museum of the United States Army is ever built. Congress has mandated that the only government support is to provide land on an Army post and the historical artifacts, otherwise, it is up to the citizens to donate the money to build the museum

There has been a fund raising organization out there (Army Historical Foundation) for a couple of decades trying to raise the money to build the muesum but it is still millions short of what is needed.

https://armyhistory.org/

There are rumors that the Association of the US Army is going to help out: http://www.ausa.org/Pages/default.aspx

The Museum Support Center featured in this article is for the preservation and restoration of minor artifacts, such as uniforms, small arms, flags, and “web gear.” It does not house any vehicles. The vehicles are at Anniston Army Depot, setting out in the open after the pole barns covering them were destroy by a tornado about 15 years ago.

see my post # 9. Delay in construction has nothing to do with the current administration, but Congression cavaets from decades ago.

Really cool stuff, hidden from view. I’m sure there are reasons why it would cost $175 million to build a comprehensive museum BUT why not a smaller one to start that could be added to as donations came in?

Private museums aren’t built all at once, they often have added wings.

And as the items were viewed by the public it might be easier to get donations. And you could rotate the items on display JUST LIKE OTHER MUSEUMS DO>

Like my good friend and Military Intel Colonel once told me ; “I’m far less concerned about what’s in Area 51 and far MORE concerned with what’s in Areas 1 through 50”......

i’m not ‘concerned’ with what’s in Area-51 ... just very interested.

i’m FAR more concerned with what’s in the oval office

you should ask your friend... can a president commit treason and if so, what would it look like?

or better yet, ask him what more would an enemy agent do that hasn’t already been done during the last 6 years?
