For thousands of refugees fleeing to Europe there is only one goal — to get to Sweden, a country known for its acceptance and tolerance of those escaping war and persecution.
But Sweden may not be as welcoming as they had hoped. A recent stabbing at a school in the small industrial city of Trollhattan, which killed a 20-year-old teacher and a 17-year-old student from Somalia, was described by police as an attack against “people with immigrant backgrounds.†There have also been 20 fires at refugee asylum centres.
The Scandinavian country has an underbelly of racism and xenophobia that could make life difficult for newcomers, says Daniel Poohl, managing director of Expo Foundation, an organization designed to shed light on racist ideas and organizations in Sweden.
Known for its civility and social cohesion, Sweden has seen an influx of immigrants, from the Balkans in the 1990s and more recently from Iraq and Afghanistan. But the latest wave of Syrian refugees — 190,000 are expected this year alone — has triggered an “agonizing†debate both politically and culturally, says Marie Demker, a professor of political science at the University of Gothenburg.

Lets hear it for ‘racist xenophobic’ Swedish heroes!
Everyone who doesn’t want violent Muslims invading their countries is “racist and xenophobic”. Add me to the list.
Wow, I guess next the media will accuse conservatives here and the Tea Party of influencing our Swedish friends.
Yes because we know how well Muslims assimilate into Western societies.
A good friend of mine just returned from a 2 year work assignment there. He said it is the most racist area he has ever witnessed. And Godless.
William Gladstone put it best:

specimen of humanity. Wherever they went, a broad line of
blood marked the track behind them, and, as far as their
dominion reached, civilization disappeared from view. They

William Durant in his “The Story of Civilization” succinctly stated, [Islam is] “probably the bloodiest story in history.” He called it a “discouraging tale, for its evident moral is that civilization is a precious good, whose delicate complex order and freedom can at any moment be overthrown by barbarians invading from without and multiplying from within.” The bitter lesson, Durant concluded, was that “eternal vigilance is the price of civilization. A nation must love peace, but keep its
powder dry.”
Islam IS a hate crime. Islam has a perfect track record of
destroying each and every culture in which it gains the upper hand. It is a murderous, anti-human abomination worthy only of extinction. Islam must be fought until Allah is worshiped only in hell.
As a fan of beautiful natural blondes, I hate the idea of Africans, muzzies and other dark people with dominant genes coming in and making a ton of mulattos like we are seeing in America. Blondes and redheads (natural ones, mind you) are being driven out of the gene pool by dark skin and dark eyes.
I know that sounds racist and, in a true sense, it is - but more the lament that the infusion of Africans and Middle Easterners into Scandinavia is going to eliminate the center of where thousands of blue-eyed blonde babies come from and I would mourn that loss to the world.
Racist xenophobia is just the Rx they need.
The Leftist Swedes practiced Nazi eugenics up until the 1980s on their own people. This is one death cult attacking another death cult.

Sweden..for the Swedes. That being said, it’s up to the lazy-assed white male Swedes to protect their genetic heritage.
Would this be a reaction to all the welfare and rape going on?
Swedes have been, for centuries, a very homogeneous society, of one language, mostly of one religion, and almost exclusively of one Nordic racial demographic. And no, not all Swedes are tall, strapping blue-eyed blondes, many of them are of brunette or red hair coloring, and have eye colors that range from green to hazel to gray. But they are all definitely Nordic.
Now, suddenly there descends upon their country persons of African and Middle Eastern origin bringing with them a strange religion and customs of which they have never had contact before. And all demanding services that the Swedes have worked out for a relatively small part of their population that through some misfortune, had found themselves unable to fully provide for all their own needs.
None of the new people bring any skill sets that can be used to advantage within the Swedish communities, and also a multitude of diseases and collected mischief-making practices that do not augur well for polite communal relations. Theft, rape and just plain bullying tactics are visited upon the rather pacific and phlegmatic Swedes, and at first, they are at a loss to comprehend.
But remember, their ancestors include some of the most warlike people north of the Mediterranean, who managed to terrorize their neighbors for centuries, and were feared and respected as far away as Spain and even parts of the Russian hinterlands, where they sailed their longboats up the Volga, sometimes transshipping to the Black Sea.
Catch the herring, clean the herring, cook the herring, raid France.
At least some Swedes are finally waking up to what’s going on. Hope it’s not too late.
Problem is, many of the Swedish Vikings emmigrated to places like Normandy, Britain, Ireland, Russia, etc., where they conquered kingdoms for themselves and settled down.
Many of the rest of the warlike Swedes were killed fighting for Gustavus Adolphus in the 30 Years War or fighting against Peter the Great.
I hope they find the spirit to fight back again. I hope all Europeans and Americans do.
Why not tell the whole truth: immigrants = muslims.
