Where are Cruz's 10K+ strong rallies? They do not exist.

Cruz didn't spend the past 10 years or so crafting an apolitical pop culture brand image as a brilliant billionaire businessman genius behind big impressive skyscrapers and casinos via self-promoting media campaigns and a seven-year prime time reality TV show.

That might have something to do with it. Palin had rallies of 10K strong, but few heard about it because the MSM failed to report it -- understandable, as Palin didn't create her own brand image through the MSM the way Trump did, Palin created it out of her political stances and political actions.

The MSM ignored and then attacked Palin -- and that same MSM breathlessly awaits Trump's every controversial word because he is a media-created celebrity very familiar to them.

Its only about 30 miles away but I haven’t been there in nearly 10 years.

If conservatives can somehow muster the metaphorical chops to create genuinely hip propaganda, you’ll see a teeth gnashing, hair pulling frenzy in the left that could sink continents. Hipsters, unite, you have nothing to lose but your obsolete categories and fear of imagination.

IOW, Cruz doesn't have large crowds because he's not a pop-culture icon. The truth is, Cruz is running the Huckabee/Santorum/Michelle Bachman campaign. Without Trump in the race, his best bet would be Iowa, then he would have lost to Jeb or Rubio somewhere along the way to Florida, wherein Cruz would be kookified by quoting his daddy talk about the "End Times Transfer of Wealth to the righteous" or showing his weaknesses on TPP and immigration, which render his opposition to Rubio et al entirely pointless.

Trump's campaign rules because it has all the energy in the race, bringing in new voters left and right. Once the actual votes begin, Trump's already sizable lead will probably come out far far larger than even the best polls suggest.

Cruz cannot create that buzz. Too artificial, too vulnerable.

“The truth is, Cruz is running the Huckabee/Santorum/Michelle Bachman campaign. Without Trump in the race, his best bet would be Iowa, then he would have lost to Jeb or Rubio somewhere along the way to Florida...”

I don’t know who this Greetings_Puny_Humans is working for, but every thread that mentions Cruz, he/she faithfully shows up to spew out dribble like this. For some reason trying to perpetuate the notion that Cruz has all his eggs in the Iowa basket, when the reality is his campaign is wide and deep, with tons of cash (both hard money and Super Pacs) and a strong ground game across multiple states. That is quite a bit different from the Huckabee/Santorum/Bachmann playbooks of past cycles. It is puzzling why the need to perpetuate a demonstrably false narrative and show up on virtually every thread to regurgitate it, could be that whoever he/she is working for is getting a tad concerned about Cruz’s recent rise in the polls.

I wish I could say this had happened in Virginia, but my state’s headed too far down the liberal rabbit hole. You ought to be proud of those Michigan kids.

This is how you influence the culture. Cruz, as well as his young supporters, understands that.

Leave it to the Cruzers to imagine a conspiracy against Cruz, since that's easier to believe in then that their candidate isn't as strong as they assume.

Romney was getting bigger crowds than Obama towards the end of the 2012 campaign.
A lot of people were sure that meant Romney was going to be President.
It didn’t work out that way.

A lot can change from now until voting starts.

Leave it to the rabid Trumpbot and professional troll to totally avoid the issue and try and turn the debate to something else altogether. The point the poster made is you continue to show up on every single pro-Cruz thread go spew out total garbage over and over again, while regurgitating the same crap that has been taken apart on other Cruz threads.

A "rabid Trumpbot" you've never been able to actually refute.

Answer me this: Did any of those three you mentioned

# 1. Have more cash on hand than anyone else?
# 2. Have a huge superPAC money?
# 3. Have the best ground game and organization in all the early primary states?

If the answer to all three questions is “no”(and it is), then don't compare Ted Cruz to them, because Ted Cruz has all three.

No, you personally insulted me, and so you follow me from thread to thread now insulting me. That's generally what you and a handful of people here do. You've never refuted that:

1) Cruz is lying when he accuses Rubio of lying about his support for legalization of illegals and expanding H1-B Visas. Cruz supported legalization not just during the Gang of Eight fight, but even 2 years after that, which he only became silent on as soon as the nomination cycle kicked in.

2) That Cruz is still telling media sources, when not railing against amnesty, that amnesty in the form of mass legalization is still on the table anyway.

3) That Cruz voted against an amendment that would have made TPA better, specifically, an amendment that would have given Congress power to reject China's entry to TPP.

4) That Cruz parroted GOPe talking points, brought TPA to the floor, and only did an about face after his facebook page was slammed by an unprecedented number of angry supporters.

5) That Cruz's wife Heidi supports the CFR's NAU, and Cruz is lying whenever he describes her as a conservative dissident in that group.

6) That Cruz's father is a dominionist and a grifter, specifically, he has no church, and evidently was using the name "Purifying Fire Ministries," even the website, despite not actually having any connection with PFM. And that's just the tip of the iceberg of Rafael Cruz's weird fabrications and exaggerations, which he sells to Evangelical audiences on behalf of Ted Cruz.

All you've ever done is mocked or made silly faces at me. None of these things have you ever been able to touch, while I can prove every single detail here.

My 18 year-old daughter was talking with a kid in school. The boy took some quiz and rated an 88% favorable with Barry Sanders. (My daughter thought - wow! 88%!? That is really high). The boy suggested my daughter take the quiz.

She was favorable with Ted Cruz. 98%!
