Hope it fails. Tarrantino is Dixie Chicked in my opinion.

Course in that one he ‘discovered’ (for American audiences) Cristoph Waltz, a wonderful actor, and an incredible role.

I loved Pulp Fiction and Kill Bills. I wonder if his marijuana (and other?) drug use led him to fear or hate cops as he was growing up. He’s never been someone who seemed smart at all in interviews when it came to general life knowledge. But he’s a genius at some aspects of filmmaking. Maybe not originality but what’s underappreciated about him is he’s one of those directors who can get great performances out of actors who are often mediocre in their careers overall. Uma Thurman shined in his movies.

I thought Basterds was fine but way more conventional in its storytelling, so less interesting. The non-linear storytelling of Pulp Fiction and Kill Bills made them more fascinating and unpredictable.

Pretentious? If you see Niles and Frasier Crane there, the answer is yes.

Tarantino wrote the script to True Romance and sold it to finance Reservoir Dogs.

Here comes the biggest loser movie of the year, if not all time - “The Hateful Eight”.

You couldn’t pay me to watch it.

Maybe one day the media will realize that a skunk fouls everything it touches.
