If that is the case then whoever they decide on, other than Trump, the nomination is Pyrrhic one, not worth anything really. All of those millions that voted for Trump in the primary will just stay home and not vote as they will feel they were cheated. Even though it is hard to believe I guess the RNC and GOPe just would not care. I think that would be the absolute end of the Republican Party and rightly so.

The GOPe DOES NOT WANT THE PRESIDENCY. The gopes are determined to nominate a prestigious gope to reward him for his gopiness and to recognize his turn in line. The GOPe nominee doesn’t want the hassle of being President though he craves the recognition of the Nomination. The gopes have their relationship with the Ruling Class Democrat Party and do not want it to be disturbed. The Nomination is a reward, not a campaign for office.

The Republican Party will remain as a shrinking Designated Opposition for the Democrats until such isn't needed any more. Then they will be the spectacular subjects of the Show Trials. The Republican Party will not disappear so long as the rulers have a purpose for it.
For anyone who thinks the Republican Party has any independent existence, ask the question- why do all of the gopes support the Amnesty that must guarantee a permanent Total Democrat State?

After Trump met with Bill Clinton two weeks before declaring his candidacy, I suspected there would be monkey-business.
I believe Trump's mission, given to him by the Clintons, is to so fracture the Republican side that they can not and will not come up with a viable and desirable candidate.
It's working very well.

How in tarnation could Trump stop them for running whomever they please? The lack of a great Republican candidate besides Trump is Trump's fault?

So you’re saying Trump, who has been his own man and has called his own shots for his entire adult life, is meekly surrendering his will to serve another politician, namely clinton?
To: stboz
I believe Trump’s mission is to win the GOP nomination, then the election and to be president.
I firmly believe that.

Yes! Isn’t it wonderful! The Donald is going to flush out all of the posers whether on the “right” or the “left” of the Uniparty! :-)

The amusing part is that Cruz is the only one who can stop Trump. Someone the GOPe hates even more. Schadenfreud

Was Trump in there? He must have slipped between the letters I typed. I went back and looked and didn’t see him.

Someone on this forum has been saying this for months:
