The goal is to keep guns away from people convicted of violating laws protecting the entrances of health care clinics.

Senate Democrats plan to force a vote on keeping guns out of the hands of people convicted of violating laws protecting the entrances of health care clinics.

Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid has introduced the amendment, which would ban gun ownership by people who have been convicted of misdemeanors under the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act, a 1994 law meant to prevent violence and harassment at abortion clinics.

Funny how the abortionists at these ‘health care clinics’ don’t have the background to get ‘admitting privileges’ when a patient of their suffers a BOTCHED abortion and should really go see an emergency room for life saving care.

Those commie Republicans better not let something like this go through. I don’t think they have any idea how precarious their positions are right now.

Is there a single God-fearing Constitution-loving red-blooded conservative patriot anywhere in the nation the liberal left does *not* feel is guilty of a crime? Go pound sand, gun grabbers!

The Lautenburg amednment was the test. This is the consequence of having given them an inch there.

Unfortunately spineless, chinless, and brainless McConnell will fold on this too.

If you protested the slaughter inside one of these clinics by picketing or handing out religious or other literature for alternatives to abortion and were arrested for that, you might be too dangerous to own a firearm?

Kick the camel's nose out of the tent, folks.

There is no proof the shooter in Colorado had EVER protested a slaughterhouse for babies.

That hunk of ex post facto poo should be repealed, too.

how can the senate dems “force” a vote while in the minority? time to roll out the nuke option. the country is probably ungovernable anyway, so it’s not like we would damage anything that wasn’t already irretrievably broken.

Reid is expected to force a vote on the amendment during consideration of the Republicans’ Obamacare repeal bill, which would use the complex budget reconciliation process to eliminate major parts of the health law.
