I watched all the Bama games this year that were available for free, and Derrick Henry was just completely amazing. I fully expected him to win. I hope he has an exceptionally long and great career in the NFL. He’s a very talented young man and seems to be an equally fine person as well.

I think Henry is great and I really noticed him against LSU this year....and will do better than his competitors in the Pros given his size and he is indeed modest and I like Alabama...a lot....any southern team is my preference...after that Ohio State
But pro potential is not the criteria

Another hater, I see. Henry broke Herschel Walker’s single season rushing record, which is an incredible feat. Henry also made his yards against much tougher defenses than McCaffrey. Pac 12 defenses are pathetic, to say the least.

The Heisman is purely based on merit. Lots of white winners, lots of black winners. But at the end of the day, its merit. You adding a racial component. Sounds like you believe in some sort of Heisman affirmative action. Like I said, you sound like a liberal.
It is great to see a humble and classy Heisman winner. I think all three guys were great candidates.
Mark Ingram does have vision and is a good RB for Saints. You are thinking of Trent Richardson who was a bust. But it was Ingram who won the Heisman in 2009.
Indeed, all three were worthy of the honor. And the teams should not be forgotten for the work they put in to make the teammate so worthy.
