In a large room in a nondescript modern office block in Seoul, staff from a recruitment company are staging their own funerals. Dressed in white robes, they sit at desks and write final letters to their loved ones. Tearful sniffling becomes open weeping, barely stifled by the copious use of tissues.
And then, the climax: they rise and stand over the wooden coffins laid out beside them. They pause, get in and lie down. They each hug a picture of themselves, draped in black ribbon.
As they look up, the boxes are banged shut by a man dressed in black with a tall hat. He represents the Angel of Death. Enclosed in darkness, the employees reflect on the meaning of life.

I read a very old Sci-Fi short story like this many, many years ago -— where everyone became fascinated with death and crawled into coffins to lay down and die. It ended with everyone dead except an old prospector named Mr. Adams, and his donkey. As he’s walking away, he says something like “Well, they’ve done it again Eve. I guess we’ll have to start over again, and this time I hope they don’t take after you so much.”
I bet that teaches them to keep their mouths shut.
Some kind of a closed container with warm, body temperature water and completely in the dark and silence people would .... well ... I don't know why they did it

you are talking about.
It puts you in a extremely relaxed state,you feel very serene when you get out,but at the same time,a number of your senses are hightened.

Got it,never been to a therapist.But the isolation deprivation tank is really a
wonderful experience.
I once worked for a casket manufacturer. Several years ago we produced a video for customers where our company president stood in front of 2 caskets. He then said he was going to do something but needed help. He then knocked on the lids of the 2 caskets and I climbed out of one, while another co-worked climbed out of the other. :-)
