On my second Tacoma and I can’t see switching from Toyota.
I always said Ted Cruz reminds me of a car dealer salesman. That description confirms my observation.
So I got a Tacoma. It was the only true mid-size truck I could find in a two seat version (that means more bed space). Got it in manual with 4 wheel drive and I still love it. Zero mechanical problems.
Someone mentioned the new jeep pickup. The new Wrangler pick up will be out next year. I may get that and hand on the Tacoma to my son.
I have a quad cab 4wd Tacoma with a 6 speed and love it.
Until late last year, I didn’t know manuals were available. I found one like the new one at a dealer up in NC.
I showed the listing to the local dealer we’ve bought from before and I might have been from another planet. I asked about getting one like I found in the same price and feature range and was blown off.
The guys in Hickory were bend over backwards great. The only reason I checked there was that my dad knows the owner and spoke very highly of him. I can see why.
I have a 2000 Ranger, extended cab, that has 77,000 miles on
It.Just recently had to put a new clutch in it, as it is almost completely driven in town.
It would take an exceptional offer to make me think about selling it.
Dodge was supposed to be installing a Penta V-6 diesel in Ram 1500’s
I worked with a couple of guys who had the monster pickups, and they referred to my Ranger as a shopping cart. I had no retort.
Ford F650
Saw someplace yesterday on the web (Can’t remember where) that the Ranger was coming back and there was going to be a Raptor version. I think it said 2017.

As I understand there are US GVT issues with using that engine in the USA. In addition the Ranger is about 80-90% the size of an F series.
Consumer demand will not overcome what the Government decides you should have.
Real men don’t need to compensate with monster trucks either heh. A small lift for the practicality of working in the bush, but anything over six is silly heh.
Was? How about IS? The diesel option is in its third year.
I was responding to the other post. I haven’t seen much about it since it was proposed and didnt take time to check if was still an option, which I did right after posting my comment.

Ford is bringing the Ranger back in 2018. My hubby said he thought it would be like the South American version. My DH and SIL worked/works for Ford. In fact we are visiting with them in China now. He’s working here for Ford..
Seems to have a lot of speculation. Ford isn’t saying much it seems.
I miss my 1994 Ford Ranger 4x4. Last year, with 98,000 original miles on it, I gave it to my grown daughter in Oregon. That truck will probably run another 20 years.
