“My advice: Quit attacking Trump and start attacking Rubio, the bubble boy.”

Because there’s no “substance” to it. The way I see it, it’s simple a “Cruzer” trying to stir the pot when there is no pot to stir. FWIW, I was very much a Trump/Cruz guy at the outset, but the more I’ve seen of Cruz, the poorer in my eyes he’s become. Like most lawyers, he’s somehow convinced that they rules don’t apply to him, and that shading the truth is o.k. so long as it helps him achieve his goals. And that is the core of what’s wrong in this country today. I honestly don’t know for certain that Trump will be a good president, but I’m willing to give him a chance because all of the rest of them have money behind them that expects certain things to happen. An those things are most probably antithetiical to my interests and those of the majority of Americans.

Totally agree. There are big faults with every one of Republican candidates.

Cruz and his H1B increase; his ties to Goldman Sachs and other big banks, his like-ability issue

Rubio and his handling of head of ICE when they were writing immigration laws- he made a bunch of promises and then had him thrown out of the hearings. His amnesty stance; his credit issues

Trump- eminent domain, bankrupcy’s, marriages, divorces, swinging back and forth with different parties, immigration stance before and now

OK, so what do all you suggest we as voters do?

Not vote and stay home therefore we get Hillary; liberal Supreme Court Judge and other terrifying things; Huma will be her right hand lady (more then one way)

Vote for Cruz and hope he can win against Hillary
Vote for Rubio and hope he can win against Hillary
Vote for Trump and hope he can win against Hillary

Yeah those are our choices

Trump has always maintained that he would deport every illegal and only allow them back in legally. He said only the good ones would get in. Therefore, no criminals, no welfare frauds, no leeches off the social safety net, etc.

And they would be on a work permit.

Cruz on the other hand this past April said that he would build the wall and then we’d discuss what to do with the illegals. When he was getting creamed in the polls after those responses he copied Trump and said he’d deport and not let back.

So, who’s right? I think the one who has consistently maintained his same position, and that would be trump. Feel free to disagee, ‘cause I know you will. :>)

Across the board they seem pretty consistent to me. Who’s not consistent is H1B Ted

On the Issues Website lists candidate positions. These are Trump’s comments over the years: •No apology for banning Muslims from entering America. (Jan 2016)
•Need to keep database of Muslim refugees. (Nov 2015)
•We must stop illegal immigration; it hurts us economically. (Nov 2015)
•I don’t care how they come in, if they come in legally. (Oct 2015)
•Syrian refugees are a Trojan Horse. (Oct 2015)
•Syrian refugee crisis partly our fault; but don’t take any. (Oct 2015)
•We’re only country dumb enough for birthright citizenship. (Sep 2015)
•Illegal immigrants populate many criminal gangs. (Sep 2015)
•This is a country where we speak English, not Spanish. (Sep 2015)
•Half of the undocumented residents in America are criminals. (Jun 2015)
•We need strong borders; we need a wall. (Feb 2015)
•Citizenship for illegal immigrants is a GOP suicide mission. (Mar 2013)
•351,000 illegal aliens are in our prisons; costing $1.1B. (Dec 2011)
•Anchor babies were NEVER the intent of the 14th Amendment. (Dec 2011)
•Invite foreigners graduating from college to stay in US. (Dec 2011)
•Control borders; even legal immigration should be difficult. (Jul 2000)
•Limit new immigration; focus on people already here. (Dec 1999)
MEXICO

•Ship millions back to Mexico, like Eisenhower did. (Nov 2015)
•Walls on borders work; just ask Israel. (Nov 2015)
•Mexico will pay for wall, but not through tariffs. (Nov 2015)
•I can get Mexico to pay for border wall; politicians can’t. (Oct 2015)
•The border wall will be well-managed and built correctly. (Aug 2015)
•We need wall on Mexican border, but ok to have a door in it. (Aug 2015)
•Mexican government is sending criminals across the border. (Aug 2015)
•Building a wall will save money because it stops bad dudes. (Jul 2015)
•OpEd: businesses & Republicans condemn anti-Mexico terms. (Jul 2015)
•Make Mexico pay for wall with severe economics. (Jun 2015)
•Mexico & Latin America send us drugs, crime, and rapists. (Jun 2015)
•Build great wall on southern border; have Mexico pay for it. (Jun 2015)
•Triple-layered fence & Predator drones on Mexican border. (Dec 2011)

It would be nice if you balanced your accusations with the entire record.

So far as a sinner changing, go to Ezekiel 33

.
In June of 2015, Trump enthusiastically promised Amnesty for the “Good Ones.”

His definition of good was having a job.

Too bad for the 26% of working age US citizens that have given up on finding a job.

Perhaps we could give them a military pension? They’ve been fighting a losing battle for 25 years.

Evasive as leftist? Was it not leftist and leftist masquerading as conservatives in D.C., who are the real emperors of evasion, who deceived, evaded, and lied for decades? But suddenly after decades of loser leadership you’re suggesting it’s Trump or his supporters who are a problem?

Really?

Where Was Donald Trump During the Immigration Fight?

Do you see the title?

Once again, it wasn't Trump who created these reckless country killing policies, collecting taxes, making endless regulations, importing millions of illegals, mass murdering terrorist into our towns and cities, nor was it Trump who destabilized the entire Mideast or put us 20 trillion in debt.

Are you struggling with something the man might have commented on years ago? Big deal. I know people who smoked for years and they were big defenders. Most of them since have quit. So what is it you're suggesting?

This is a total distortion of the record.

I have repeatedly posted the actual record. When I do, what you do in response is run to another thread to post this baloney, hoping that I won’t catch up to you and that will make you “right”.

Since I posted it to you I am stupid about hiding things from you aren’t i?

And for the record, it is a copy paste from the website “on the issues “ that keeps track of these things for a Living.

The simple fact of the matter is that Trump has been advocating for amnesty for a long time — and recently.

Cruz fought the amnesty bill in 2013 and is fighting amnesty now.

I don’t understand why people like Trump.

There is nothing he’s actually done that is worthy in any way.

He’s all talk.

There is so much negative in his past that he lies about and then all his supporters scramble over their seats to believe him.

Cruz has said he’ll search out and deport all illegals. Trump says he’ll deport them and bring them (at least “the good ones”) back — which is a form of amnesty known as “touchback”. (I guess he’s referring to the ones who work for him.) Rubio would just leave them here — which at least is cheaper than sending them back, then reimporting them.

I wonder whay “On the Issues” left that out...

Trump was pro-abortion.
Trump was pro-amnesty.
Trump despises little people.
Trump has all his supporters fooled.

OMG You just put a picture into my mind that I cannot unsee.

Howdy Doody waltzing around the dance floor with all his wives and daughters.

Plus all the Hollywood people he will welcome back into his realm.

Almost hoping Trump gets it ... there will be enough egg on the faces of his zombie supporters to feed a third world country.

Not a whole lot before 2011 was there?

That’s when Trump decided being president would be more fun than an 80 foot living room.

Trump is to the left of Romney.

Who is Donald Trump?

A man who has had 3 marriages, 4 bankruptcies, and 6 changes of party registration, who boasts about his many conquests and affairs, some with married women, whose wife has published nude pictures?

A guy who’s gotten into public fights with Ted Cruz, George W. Bush, and the Pope, then backed down on all of them like the coward and wimp that he is.

Trump supported TARP and 0bama’s stimulus.

He was talking about giving illegals a path as recently as August and has supported a plan that is virtually identical to “touchback” amnesty.

He supports using eminent domain for private gain instead of public use.

His buildings have been built by illegal immigrant labor.

He supported radical Democrat mayor Bill (Warren Wilhelm) DeBlasio. (One of many Democrats he has supported.)

He called self-deportation ridiculous and offensive.

He has donated much more money to Democrats than Republicans.

In the first Republican debate last year, he praised socialized medicine; he now says he’ll cover everyone and “the government will pay for it” and if you don’t agree, you’re heartless.

He boosted his liberal pro-abort sister as an excellent choice for the Supreme Court.

He attacked Scalia for a ruling on affirmative action.

He called Pat Buchanan a “Hitler lover.”

He boasts about his many affairs, some with married women.

He threatens to sue people for disagreeing with him.

He says he’ll revoke 0bama’s executive orders (a promise stolen from Cruz), but “ll do good ones.” (IOW, “pen and phone” government will remain with us.)

He called Ben Carson a “psycopath” and a “child molester” and questioned Dr. Carson’s faith AND his personal history. He also questioned Ted Cruz’s faith. Then he got upset (rightfully) when the Pope questioned his faith.

He called Cruz a “maniac.”

Meanwhile, sitting with Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski on MSNBC, Trump admitted (perhaps in a confused moment) that he supported the retention of the 0bamacare mandate.

The liberals can deal with Trump. He’s malleable (as Harry Reid said.) He says he can deal with Pelosi and Reid. Cruz will fight them tooth and nail and move the window in our direction as far as he can.

Trump is their kind of Republican.
