Reminds me a Klingon Bird of Prey.
Why is it always a foreign architect, as if the presence of a foreigner provides some source of cachet or mystery or added value?
Foreigners mostly suck, or they wouldn’t be foreigners. It is time to stop the leftist-driven adulation of them. It’s not rational.
The mall attached to this structure opens today. I hope it works as a mall, because it sucks as a train station.
They had six escalators coming up out of the temporary construction entrance. They replaced those with one.
This morning, they had taken out about 60% of the floor space in the main hall so set up seating areas and a stage. So now commuters are jammed into the perimeter, and form a clog at the bottom of the one escalator.
Unfortunately, these modifications look permanent.
Add in a bunch of gawkers, shoppers, seniors doing their walking exercise, strollers, and an inexhaustible supply of people who are not in a hurry and are completely unfamiliar with the concept of standing on the right side of an escalator, and this evening’s commute is going to be a nightmare.
