"Hue Jackson is a no nonsense coach who will rebuild the Browns from the ground up."

You mean they might improve enough to beat St. Iggy?

RG runs stupid as opposed to someone like R. Wilson. Wilson runs to extend plays and always continues to look for the pass. When he does run, he protects himself by not squeezing out the extra yard for a hit. RG would decide to run without seeing progressions and get seriously hit.

Not sure his fellow skins cared for him either.

He still has a ways to get to the Ryan Leaf level.

Wish an investigative reporter would write a book about Ryan Leaf. There are lessons to be learned about self-destruction.

Sad to think that conventional wisdom at the time was it didn’t matter if Manning, or Leaf was picked 1st.

Some (maybe a fe?w) thought Leaf should have been #1. iirc, Leaf thought so.

That's true - Ryan Leaf level involves prison time. Manziel isn't quite there yet (though I understand he's facing charges for beating his girlfriend). But he's well on his way to bouncing himself out of the NFL.

Good kid. I hope he heals up completely, stays healthy and plays well (except against my Giants, that is).

I’m a ravens fan. Hue Jackson will help the Browns. Ravens and Steelers count on Cleveland to screw it up every year, so it’s bad news.

RG3 has lost speed and is terrible in the pocket. Another nightmarish move by Cleveland. RG couldnt even beat out Colt McCoy the backup.

I have lived and worked in the DC area for a long time. I have seen the Redskins up and down for a long time. Here is what I can tell you: RG is fragile, he is not a pocket passer, he holds on to the ball for too long, his running days are measured, he will get nailed quickly unless some miracle happens quickly. The Redskins accidentally did something right when the drafted Cousins at the same time. God works in mysterious ways.

What are you talking about? You don’t know the curse of the skins? They have a tendency to pick QBs that are decent but don’t perform well on the team and when they leave they go and win SuperBowls.

The Redskin coaches played RGIII when he was seriously injured and ruined his career,

What? How does Jeff Garcia deserve to be on that list? No way. And while not the best quarterback, Trent Dilfer won a Super Bowl.

Jeff Garcia had his worst season as a Brown. He went 3-7 with poor numbers and was gone after one year. Granted, he did catch lightning in a bottle with a very good Eagles team several years later, but his body of work post 49ers speaks for itself.

C'mon, Dilfer was on a team that won the Super Bowl, but no one thinks he had anything to do with it. He was along for the ride.

He became the starter after Tony Stanks lost the job and the more we saw of him, the less he was allowed to pass.

Further, he was five years removed from that SB and played, predictably, poorly.

I question how “stand up” Griffin is. Few of his teammates were clamoring for his return.

Do you think that might have something to do with him rumored to be a black conservative republican who married a white woman? That tends to be frowned upon by many black people.

He also got caught sexting a Hooters waitress in Richmond VA the night before his wedding. The media quickly buried that story.

Not really - it's hardly news-worthy, yet it was still news for days afterward. Possibly thanks to my first point.
