Okay, you are right. Trump right now has 37.11% of the popular vote compared to Ted’s 27.29%.

The principle remains the same. A man with 27% wants to nullify the votes of the 37%.

Ted is a little rat bastard.

Ted has just over 1/4th of the votes, and yet the GOPe/RNC argument is that Ted should get the nomination because he may be better at redirecting delegates.

And you fall for it hook line and sinker.

This is the same RNC/GOPe Conservatives have been railing against for decades, and here you are carrying their water.

Shameful...

It’s not nullification. It’s called democracy.

In most elections, you eventually have to win 50% to win an election. Sometimes elections go to a runoff for that reason.

Really, what I would prefer would be a runoff between Cruz and Trump nationwide, but that can’t happen, so we are left with a scramble of delegates. The delegates are what is important, not the popular vote. Nothing shady, that’s the nature of the beast.

BTW, when we go to a national election, it’s a electoral game.

Should we invalidate the results of the 2000 election and give it to Gore, because he won the popular vote?

100 - 65 = 35% for other than Trump or Cruz. Do you want all the candidates that comprise that 35% nominated at the convention?

Those people had the same chance Trump had. Who prevailed?

Why is the election process so confusing all of a sudden?

Trump got 37% of the popular vote and Cruz got 27%. Trump prevailed over Cruz, and by even larger margins over all the rest.

He won.

Using convention trickery to deny him that win isn’t reasoned.

You ever heard of a runoff election when candidates don’t reach 50% in a primary? This is the same principal, except with delegates.

BTW, did you know there are a lot of runoff elections where the second place finisher in the primary ends up beating the first place finisher?

Can you not acknowledge that a political race has a completely different dynamic when there are two candidates as opposed to 17?

Why is this so confusing?

Elections are not confusing.

This election was set up to allow the Republican voters to pick their nominee.

They have.

Ted wasn’t the winner.

If the GOPe/RNC candidates wish to support Ted, who really wins?

the nation / the GOPe/RNC

So you’re saying 48% of the voting Republicans should have their vote nullified by 35% of the voting Repbulicans, and 17% of unbound delegates.

No, what I'm saying is that if, say, Cruz gets 52% of the delegates at the convention and Trump gets 48%, then Cruz is the nominee. The one who gets the majority of the delegates at the convention is the nominee. Pretty simple. That is not "nullification." That is "nomination."

Ummm...

The election’s not over.

Donnie did not prevail.

I didn’t know a runner in the mile race could stop 70% through the race because he was 10 yards ahead and declare himself the winner.

Doesn’t work that way.

There are no short cuts.

You can paint Cruz with the GOPe sticker all you want, but Deceptive Donnie still needs 1237.

Nothing’s going to change that.

That’s nullification of the majority of Republican voters.

I’m sorry you can’t quite grasp that.

No other candidate came closer than 10% to Trump, and you are hoping the GOPe/RNC centric candidates will rally around ‘the outsider’ Ted so that he can be the nominee.

So not only Ted is GOPe, but you are too.

LOL

Trump outs more people each day...

You know, Deceptive Donnie has repeatedly touted his awesome dealmaking skills.

Let’s see what he can do to close this deal.

Is he really a great dealmaker, or is he a fraud?

Voter nullification...

You’re stuck with it.

Running the race to the finish line.

Is that a concept you understand?

That’s nullification of the majority of Republican voters.

Trump has not won a majority of Republican voters, not even close. He has not even won a majority of the vote in any state, only in the Northern Mariana Islands.

BTW, have you taken a look at the latest Reuters national poll out today? It seems people are starting to drop off the Deceptive Donnie band wagon.

“For the first time, Ted Cruz Tuesday surpassed Republican presidential rival Donald Trump nationally in the weekly Reuters tracking poll — by just two points after a week of debacles ranging from the front-runner’s switches on abortion to his campaign manager being charged with simple battery for allegedly grabbing a news reporter.
Here are the results of the poll:
• Cruz: 39 percent.
• Trump: 37 percent.
• John Kasich: 23 percent.
The New York billionaire has regularly cited the Reuters tracking poll in speeches and television interviews.”

So you want with the American public wants? VOTE CRUZ!!!

50% is a concept that doesn’t apply to Deceptive Donnie.

Please name the person that has more delegates or a larger percentage of votes.

Thanks in advance.

LOL, a number of polls had Ted it the lead months ago.

They also had Carson there.

How did that work out?

Gosh you folks are getting desperate.

13 days until Ted is mathematically eliminated.

Enjoy acting like Ted is a big Kahuna until then.

The joke’s on you pal.

What are you going to do when that “will of the people” argument goes out the window?

Kind of hard to argue the election is being stolen from him, if the people don’t want him, isn’t it?

Face it, Donnie’s pooping out...

Yes, Trump eliminating Ted in 13 days, is evidence of someone pooping out.

Wonder who that might be?...
