I keep remembering all of those opposed to Romney once he was our candidate - saying he was too liberal and had instituted socialized medicine as governor of Mass..... I wonder how many of them are the trump supporters of today?

I guess we may be considered TRUMP DENIERS kind of like the climate change deniers. and we will be as maligned for it as the left maligns those who do not believe in manmade climate change.
They have too much invested in him now to turn back. Pity to be them and stand for nothing.

It really is astounding to see some of them accepting each switch he makes - I looked up his transgender statement - how does anyone justify that? A rational person would have said if this really is an issue, and a business or municipality wants to help, then redesign their bathrooms into singles for family. Malls started doing that back in the 70’s or 80’s to accommodate all sorts of issues - elderly needing assistance, baby diaper changing, parents with children and would also be available to anyone wanting that privacy. This whole issue could be handled by making family bathrooms. Of course we know that isn’t truly the issue - it is gaining special rights for 1% of the population.
In the future there will either be one big bathroom for everyone (like Ally McNeil) or series of individual bathrooms.

I always liked the accommodated bathrooms in the malls and other large public venues-to a case manager, it makes perfect sense for those with REAL special issues-and that does NOT include made-up ones like someone using the opposite sex bathroom just because they want to play dress-up-that is ridiculous and it reinforces the bad behavior of an emotionally unstable individual, in my opinion.
It makes more sense to stop yowling about it as a national issue-leave it up to each state. Then that state can leave it up to each county, city or whatever. If a city/county wants to let lunatics run amok in the bathrooms of businesses, let them experience the loss of revenue that will come sooner rather than later-because as Whyisa pointed out, they are torching their profits to please about 1% of the population...
I like the way it works out here-a lot of small eating and drinking establishments are only open on the 3 weekend days in Summer-which is the snowbird off season-very few tourists. I doubt that a trannie would even be served a drink at most places, and if they tried to use the opposite sex bathroom and survived the trip (women are not interested in being insulted, and there aren’t any metrosexual cowboys), they might find a couple of wranglers waiting for them in the parking lot-call it zero tolerance, frontier style...
My feeling is that Target and other locations will be sued when someone is attacked or even scared - then they will go to the expense of creating the family restrooms but not before then.
I used to bus in a restaurant. Women are way dirtier.
Oh, hell yes-the deepest pockets will be the first ones sued-and since those are the big chain stores with liberal leanings, it is poetic justice, too-here’s to better litigation and bigger cash awards...
You could be right about trannies in cities-and now that you mentioned it, I just might never go into the city again-yech!
Most of us carry out here-especially if we are going someplace alone, or to a place where an assault or robbery has happened-if I wanted to play dressup, I’d think twice or more about doing it in rural redneck country.
Ha - very few people care if they aren’t cleaning the area. I’m one of those rare people who takes a paper towel and wipes the water around the sink. I keep hoping someone will hand me a tip... ;^)
A++++ I fear no one would dare arrest her. Especially, with Obama’s team in place.
Our Target has a family restroom. Has since it opened. I have only used it when they are cleaning the ladies’ room, but will have to rethink that. Our daughter is planning two unisex restrooms for her restaurant, one will be handicap accessible the other not. Should solve those transgender issues.

I recall working in a large grocery store and an elderly lady came out to complain that there was a man dressed as a woman in the restroom taking pictures of himself. She was upset. He was the only one in there so they had a “chat” with him. He steadfastly claimed to be a woman even though he often came in dressed as a man, too. We knew him. He was told that he was now banned from there. He demanded to know on what grounds. There was a sign forbidding the taking of pictures in the store, so they used that. He came in the very next day dressed as a man. I waited on him frequently. Crazy. And his elderly mother was in the store that night and nearly shouted that he was a woman. We sure got the crazies in there.
Probably the grocery store would have been sued by the trannie today...
When I was a workers comp case manager, the company had several comp clients who were trannies-the polite ones only came to the office dressed as men, but there were two who came dressed as women more often than not. One of them sometimes wore a hat with antennae on it, too-but that was part of his attempt to scam the comp insurance co over a head injury that never happened...
It was hard to resist the temptation to call the psychotherapist and set up a therapy session for them, and the receptionist would come to the door of my office very quietly singing Dude Looked Like a Lady so I would know that the client was in drag today, and to keep my composure. If we did that now, the whole company and staff would have been sued into oblivion by a loon who thought he was a female...
