The pope must’ve gotten a heads up.

He just said most marriages were invalid.

It took her four years to admit this? Maybe even Harvard hesitated to promote her.

There were all manner of fake gospels current in the second century, and a manuscript of one of them is not "fake" in the sense of being a modern forgery.

This is not just a "fake gospel" it is a "fake fake gospel".

Exactly. An ancient document with incorrect information is one thing. A modern document passing for ancient is something else.

the Atlantic article (online) is highly entertaining.

ps:
wouldn’t it be nice if the mass media would do even one-half the “investigative” job on the Islamic invasion-organizing-and-enabling illegal immigrant in our WH? But no, “pay no attention to the little man behind the curtain....there’s nothing to see there!....”

"This is not just a "fake gospel" it is a "fake fake gospel".

Just like the gnostic Gospel of Mark. It was shown to be a forgery and thus a fake fake gospel.

How would Jesus being married or not affect his divinity one way or the other?

What gave it away as a forgery? Maybe because is was written on a typewriter?

After four years of intense historical research, they determined that Comic Sans font was not in use at the time of the manuscript’s purported writing.
