This year is no exception. Among the court's eight remaining cases are regulation of Texas abortion clinics, race in college admissions, protections for people living in the U.S. illegally and the public corruption conviction of Virginia's former governor.

It astounds me that anyone would want to protect illegal aliens so much, that they’d be willing to fight to do so, all the way to the Supreme Court.

when an openly gay jurist, one who banned military recruiters from her campus over DADT, and one who a few weeks before the vote performed a gay marriage, don’t recuse themselves from a gay marriage vote, SCOTUS is no longer real..
Liberals reflexively see the underdog as the more moral person, regardless of the persons’ actions that led to them being there.
Like pitying Muslims as poor oppressed people and reflexively siding with them over Christians or even secular values like feminism (Islam is a true rape culture) while ignoring how their view of commerce as worse than theft, no science because it questions allah and oppressing half the population is why they are backward today in the first place.
When there is a conservative court, can it be appealed on that basis?

With the low birthrate we’ve had for years now, the tide has turned on illegal immigration forever. Without them we’d have schools, actually whole towns (and eventually states) become ghost towns. I’d prefer that to adding millions that just latch on to my paychecks, but the government employee caste (a huge part of our socialist economy at this point) will never allow it; most have no skills that translate well in the shrinking private sector.
So we’d just dry up and blow away, if not for the noble illegals who are replacing us?
