Erasing history is not a real good idea. There’s a reason all of those building at Yale were named for the people chosen for the honor.
Man, the fools and idiots are now in control and are running the Country. obama aside, Hillary Clinton aside, ISIS and other muslim organizations aside[all muslim organizations are merely different branches on the same tree]. We, as a Nation, will not last many with idiots such as this running the Country. I understand that the powers at Yale , etal., are not running the Country. But they replicate, each year they send out thousands of replicas of them throughout the Nation. And most , if not all, of them end up in Government. Thus Nature takes its course.
They just might be opening a REAL can of worms!

The Yale and Harvard names should be stricken from their Ivy walls.
Going after the Calhoun building is ‘low hanging’ calorie-free fruit.
For the Progressives/Liberals to protect the names “Yale” and “Harvard” is disingenuous.
Tear it down or leave it all up.

The name of ANY individual connected in ANY way with slavery must be stricken from the land. (Massive sarc)

A few months ago students at some college/university wanted the name changed on a building there named LYNCH.... Wondered if they would demand the AG change her name as it could imply SHE really wouldn’t be AGAINST the lynching of her own race. It no doubt was given to her family of SLAVES by a slave master by that name. Oh! Dear - what are we to do?
Yale President Peter Salovey: “My dear friend, I understand that you wish to make a donation to Yale?

Salovey: “As you would expect, I am most pleased to hear this. Do I understand that you wish to make a ‘building’ gift? That is quite expensive, you know!

Salovey: “Oh, yes, my VERY DEAR friend, I can see that working very well indeed! Just one or two questions I need to ask.”
Donor: “Shoot Luke!”
Salovey: “And that is exactly what I am talking about. Didn’t you make some of your money in gun manufacturing?”
Donor: “Did I ever, especially after Obama came into office! My investments in S&W and Ruger have soared 1,000%! Of course, that was after I took all my profits from the Defense Industries.”
Salovey: “And aren’t you known for eating at Chik-fil-A? And supporting Mitt Romney in 2012?”
Donor: “I don’t think I like where this is going!”
Salovey: “I truly am sorry but here at Yale, given the problems we have with the Calhoun Building and the fact that ol’ Elihu was a slave trader, naming a building brings a lot of scrutiny!”
Donor: “So, you are saying that normal activities and investments, all perfectly legal, keeps me from giving a whopping hunk on money???”
Salovey: “It is just that it is so expensive to keep cleaning up a building when our more expressive students ... uh ... go on a rant! They are quite demonstrative!”
Donor: “I see, well I am sorry to take up your time!”
Salovey: “It is a sad thing to have such worries in today’s world. Can I interest you in funding a scholarship, or perhaps a donation for Hillary 2016?”
Well the administration shouldn’t complain when the Muslims complain and insist Yale be renamed Al-Sharia.
