I have to admit Janeway played a good Captain. But Picard was the best. No doubt.
Personally, Janeway always struck me as the one who’d be fastest to hit the “fire photo torpedoes” button, probably because of her situation.
Deep Space Nine came closest to what I would like to have seen, an anthology series on all aspects of the Federation. Watching Kirk or Ryker or whomever chasing any woman with a brow-ridge almost every week gets old after a while...
