Today in Dimondale Michigan Donald Trump gave what was not only the best speech of his campaign but a speech that will one day be seen as a landmark in the emergence of a new Republican Party – a party finally returning to its roots as the party of Lincoln. If this sounds like hyperbole ask yourself what other Republican leader in recent memory has addressed America’s African American communities in this voice:
The African-American community has given so much to this country. They’ve fought and died in every war since the Revolution. They’ve lifted up the conscience of our nation in the long march for Civil Rights. They’ve sacrificed so much for the national good. Yet, nearly 4 in 10 African-American children still live in poverty, and 58% of young African-Americans are not working. We must do better as a country. I refuse to believe that the future must be like the past.
Trump’s Dimondale speech was a pledge to African Americans trapped in the blighted zones and killing fields of inner cities exclusively ruled by Democrats for half a century and more, and exploited by their political leaders for votes, and also used as fodder for slanders directed at their Republican opponents. This was his appeal:
Tonight, I am asking for the vote of every African-American citizen in this country who wants a better future. The inner cities of our country have been run by the Democratic Party for 50 years. Their policies have produced only poverty, joblessness, failing schools, and broken homes. It is time to hold Democratic Politicians accountable for what they have done to these communities. It is time to hold failed leaders accountable for their results, not just their empty words.
Time to hold the Democrats responsible for what they have done. For twenty years I and many others on the right have waited for Republican leaders to do just this. Until now we have despaired of seeing this happen in our lifetimes. But here is Trump articulating the very message we have been waiting for - support for America’s inner city poor – a message that should have been front and center of every Republican campaign for the last fifty years.
Trump: “Look at what the Democratic Party has done to the city of Detroit. Forty percent of Detroit’s residents live in poverty. Half of all Detroit residents do not work. Detroit tops the list of Most Dangerous Cities in terms of violent crime. This is the legacy of the Democrat politicians who have run this city. This is the result of the policy agenda embraced by Hillary Clinton…. The one thing every item in Hillary Clinton’s agenda has in common is that it takes jobs and opportunities from African-American workers. Her support for open borders. Her fierce opposition to school choice. Her plan to massively raise taxes on small businesses. Her opposition to American energy. And her record of giving our jobs away to other countries.”

Cherry is only used when the Mint is not to be found. Or the mint it is not to be found the the 4 mg to be exact. LOL it’s big time addiction here. for 55 years, but supposed belief that one is never to old to change.

YES! I bought a wireless mouse and a one with the cord. I’m using the one with the cord. I have opened the cherry, yet but the mint is okay. I got such deals! I have to go back tomorrow because I got a “rain check” on my Diet Cokes = 4 12-packs for $12.00 and I couldn’t find a floor lamp I liked. Actually, I ran out of time. I spent almost $350.00 ...lol... and got carded! The old lady behind me wasn’t all that surprised! She asked me, “well how old are you, Miss?” I said, “SEVENTY!” She then said “oh my, well you don’t look it, I’m 74 myself.” LOLOLOL. The poor dear.

Wake up, African American brothers and sisters. If things aren’t so great in your communities, why don’t you EVER hold the controlling Dems responsible? They haven’t helped and you are in lockstep with them. Time for a real change. Obama didn’t bring you sh... Poop.
Lincoln was a divider, Trump is a unifier.

Trump and Pence need to keep Repeating what DAMAGE and RUIN the Democrats have been to BLACKS.....SOME of them just might wake up!!!
Here’s a suggestion; Why don’t we stop using the nonsense term African-American and start identifying them as Black American, which makes a lot more sense. I don’t consider myself an English-American or Italian-American, I consider myself just an American. I do identify as a White American, though. This sort of racial pandering is the foul legacy of the Marxocrats and should be dropped altogether. The obsession with race categorization in this country has become like it was in Nazi Germany.

So true. So glad Trump said this.
During Os administration, all news about AA has been negative - with riots, destruction, hate.
Trump will show in his administration how much Black Americans help and contribute to the country. Trump will empower those Blacks who are the Silent Black Majority - the ones who do not approve of the hate (remember Charleston SC?).

Certainly puts a bounce in steps here. You walk out of the store humming a happy tune. Employees must be taught to ask ID of every customer. The store here has done it for years So very flattering~ Ironic that to buy adult toxins one must have ID for age verification but to vote, all one need to is perform the act.
DIET coke~spit spit. just plain old coke is bad enough!! Could seldom drink that stuff. Remember when the formula was changed and failed to please. Other Half bought a carton of the old for posterity. The carton sat in the bottom of the cabinet for years. To open it would have been sacrilege. Being Texan, it’s been Dr. Pepper for personal preference. No diet, and no store brand. Persnickety in my old age. This replaces coffee as the caffeine dujour. Will now occasionally go for Wal Mart’s Clear American sparkling water. Flavor: BLACK CHERRY~~ this is a cherry flavor which is excellent. The water has no caffeine, no calories. Other flavors include pineapple/coconut, golden peach, white grape. There are a number of flavors and slowly working a way through them to find those liked. When found, a few extra bottles are purchase and hoarded.
Time to make breakfast. It’s raining cats and dogs here this morning. Also in need of rain, but would be nice to see some sunshine.

YES. REMARKABLE that so few consider the inner cities which are degrading are being run and have been run by demirats for decades, perhaps even scores. Greta VS after hearing DJT speech was amazed when fact checking the accusations. Well duh!! Most common sense folk had already made the connection but could do nothing to ratify it. A cancer in our society.
The media is not reporting ANY of this! After Trump visited Baton Rouge I checked NBC, CNN, ABC, CBS news websites and NOT ONE of them even mentioned it anywhere on the front page. But they ALL mentioned that Obama was PLANNING to visit. How much of Trump’s events is actually getting through to Joe and Jane America?

I agree with you, especially since not all Africans are black. Many are WHITE!
