You have no idea how humid and bug (with zika virus) infested that place is right now. Looks OK in the picture, though. Nice and tropical.

They will probably send in a SWAT team and conduct a dynamic enytry and arrest to save her from herself, however,What's the fun in that?
There's no front door to blow up...

Maybe she could get the EPA to complete a site inspection and remediation plan. That might buy her five more years!

If that was in california she would have been arrested for molesting an oak tree.

Judging by the photos, I’d say that jealousy is the only problem.

Hmmm. If 24 years is correct, then the structure has survived at least 4 hurricanes.

She loses some sympathy from me when she has a picture of Huey Newton in her living room.

She loses some sympathy from me when she has a picture of Huey Newton in her living room. She's clearly an old hippy, but honoring Huey Newton, a Black Panther leader from the 60s, is definitely over the top for me too. I hadn't noticed that pic.

Haight Ashbury was a middle class neighborhood that happened to be near the Golden Gate Park Panhandle.
The kids that swarmed there in 66/67 were from mostly very wealthy liberal families, and had never had a care in the world.
Their hippie garb was part of the total put-on. They had check books and credit cards up the wazoo.
Scott McKenzie’s song was catchy, but told mostly lies. They were not “gentle people,” they were thugs and thieves when their money got cut off.

I know a few people that sleep in their gazebo or screen rooms. What’s the big deal?

Always fascinating when you read the comments and learn the rest of the story. That is why FR is such an excellent source of information.
