When I lived in Virginia Beach, I would often see FF which stood for Langley. My Father worked for 35 years at Tyndall TY, Egin, EG and ET.
I can guess most of them if I see the letters but can’t remember a lot off hand.

I was talking to a pilot at Eglin maybe 20 years ago. He said they all called it the Worst Fighter Squadron. I guess Langley is close enough to Washington DC that they seem to get a lot of interviews but it was the Eglin Squadron which shot down all the Migs in Iraq.
