The left always hates Israel. Even leftist Jews, and for the life of me I don’t know why.
To the left, government is god. I mean that.
They see government as a replacement for God. And their government god is a jealous god.

When Arafat was alive, we made jokes more than once in my church about how ugly he was, starting with the perpetual 3-day unshaved look.

It is interesting, how blind people can be.
Self deception and hate is often the result of a willful blindness, or desire not to admit a persons own failure, which serves to motivate the search for fault with other individuals or groups, as it elevates ones own moral position. It is self deception, and blinding pride.
Some of the standard reasons given for hating Jews have been related to finance and monetary influence, block voting for liberals, and pro-active left wing political influence which continues to wage war against conservatism, freedom, and our Constitution, and even against Israel itself.
However, while these things have happened, most Jews in America and around the world are not wealthy and at best are middle class. If we are being honest with ourselves, it is also true the average beliefs and morality of Democrat voters, and increasingly Republican voters who are not Jewish, together comprise by far the voting majority. As such, in reality, it is the plunging morality and depravity, faith, and ignorance of the average American voter which is the real reason for our nations apparent rush to commit suicide.
However, I believe something else is going on here which is exacerbating both the hatred toward Jews, as well as the pride and self deception of the Jews as to their perceived status in society.
I know many will disagree with me here, but if Ephesians 6 is true, there is a Satan, there is a just and righteous God, and there is spiritual warfare taking place around us. It is a war we do not fully understand or recognize, even after reading descriptions of it in various Scriptural texts.
However, this war has resulted in many people from around the world unconsciously, or at times without understanding why, the desire to hate God and destroy others. These text clearly do not give us an excuse to do wrong, as this is always our own choice, but they do communicate the existence of spiritual anti-God influence. Remember the Genesis account of the pride and fall of Lucifer, and his influence on Eve and Adam. The choice to hate or do wrong is always our own, but the influence and temptation are also there. This applies to all individuals and nations throughout written human history.
However, pertaining to Israel, Paul wrote in Romans 11:25 - “For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness [*literally a hardening of the heart against God] in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in.”
There is actually much more written about this blindness and attack in Scripture.
If Ephesians 6 and Romans 11:25 are correct, I believe Jews in America and around the world, (although certainly not all), may be especially hated by non-Jews for different reasons, including for a less identifiable spiritual reason.
In addition, there is a related reason for the *blindness of many Jews today.
If Old Testament biblical eschatology is true, in the future, many Jews will lose their lives after following The man of Lawlessness (*The* Anti-Christ), and some Jews will be involved in bringing many to belief in Christ and much blessing to the world in the future. If Scripture is true, Satan knows this, and will act to try and stop any effort which might bring people to belief in God and the sacrifice of His Son to pay for the debt of mans sin.
As such, it makes sense the lies of the enemy will be believed by many. It is not that blindness to truth and what is right aren’t a problem around the world, but rather I believe it is an extra measure of blindness, to assist in the effort to destroy them, to keep the Jews from fulfilling some of what Scripture says will take place in the future.
Just as in the past, free people from ethnic groups around the world today will continue to refuse to believe the horrific consequences of their ever compromising beliefs, which will result in societal upheaval, loss of freedom, mass blood shed, and slavery to some form of totalitarianism.
During WWII, many Central and Eastern European Jews simply refused to believe the reality of the evil and death many of them were going to face, until it was too late. In time, after much horrific loss of life, in the east, some of them would embrace the Soviets as their liberators, just to find out the Russians had one of the largest Jewish labor camps during the war, and would keep some of them alive just to use as slave labor. Today is no different!
Yet another stunning and horrific historical WWII fact, American Jews were involved in placing significant political pressure on our own government, to NOT allow shiploads of European Jews into the United States, even as they had already made to New York Harbor, for fear of an American backlash against them. As a result, the ships were turned back to Europe, where many of them died!
Wow, what humans will do for self gratification and self preservation!
Arafat was not only KGB, but also partially controlled by the Romanian Secret Police according to former Romanian officer Ian Pacepa (spelling may be a little off). He was also reported to be a homosexual whose trysts with his private bodyguards were filmed by the Romanians.
Many leaders of the Egyptian Communist parties (there were several in 1948), were pro-Soviet and one, the publisher of L’Asia-L’Afique in Paris, was definitely a Soviet propagandist (Simon Malley).
He and his family were thrown out of France as security risks, with his son later ending up as Obama’s secret contacts with Assad in Syria (once exposed, he was moved around and came back later in a similar position within the Obama administration. Not sure what his title was, if he had one).
Soviet penetration of the Free World has been more extensive and deeper than anyone thought but it is good that The Gates of Vienna ran this article for all to see.
