Here’s my thought: what the devil is a Solicitor General?

Thoughts?

Yeah if you could stop with the vanities, that would be great.

Cruz is a Bush operative.

He would have destroyed our sovereignty just as quickly as Jeb

Getting Cruz out of the Senate would solve some of the Turtle’s problems.

Both of them are more valuable in the Senate,
You can count on one hand the number of Senators on the side of the citizens and the rule of law.

All of the Senators who voted for the Gang of Eight should be removed from office.
Murkowsky, Hoeven, McCain and Rubio were just rewarded with another term for betraying the citizens with the Gang of Eight.
Flake, Corker Hatch and Heller are up in 2018, plans for their defeat should begin now.
Graham and Alexander don’t come up until 2020.
Kirk and Ayotte ere dispatched by the voters already.

I do not believe Crux would step down to be solicitor general. Nor should he. He is needed in the Senate and so is Sessions. You can find other people just as good so leave Sessions and Cruz where they are.

This would be the ideal combo. It would give Cruz some time to improve his behavior under Sessions guidance.

Cruz would make a great ambassador to East Timor.

As much as they would be good choices, I wonder if both would serve better in the Senate.

Personally, with Sessions and Cruz being two of the few Conservative Senators, I’d rather them stay in the Senate.

Trump certainly will need a an ally like Jeff Sessions.

I was hoping Cruz would be chosen for DOJ; somebody with guts needs to take on the Clinton mess and clean house once and for all.

Plus, I was pretty sure the Senate would be happy to see him out of the Senate, and would gladly confirm his appointment.

Wasn’t Cruz Solicitor General in Texas ..?? And, I agree with another poster .. what exactly is that job ..??

My thoughts are that whoever he puts anywhere will be a terrific choice for that position....might be better off going straight to him than polling us: https://www.greatagain.gov/

Cruz would make a great litigator at a private law firm which is likely where he’s headed after his senate term is up.
