99% of Trump's electors are excited to do their part to make America Great again on Dec 19. They are as enthusiastic to vote for him as the rest of us were on November 8.
But that won't stop the usual Debbie Downers and concern trolls from coming up with far-fetched scenarios on why that might not happen.
I can already predict what they will be saying the morning of Inauguration Day on Jan 20. They will be worried that the Democrats will change the road signs in Washington D.C. so that the Trump motorcade will get lost and not be at the Capitol in time for the noontime swearing in. "Oh noes" they will tell us, there will be some obscure rule that allows for the runner-up to get sworn in if the winner is not right on the spot at the appointed hour. Then Crooked Hillary in a crusty pantsuit will rise from the crowd like a phoenix and get herself sworn in instead, bringing us 100 years of darkness. Oh noes! Where's Trump? He's lost in the backroads of Maryland someplace trying to find the way back to the Capitol. Too late! Trump is too late! Oh noes!
Guess whjat the vote is on that impeachment in the house??? Bwaaaaahhhaaa. I want to o add that I see the Democrat party in total collapse. They have no leadership. You could see it when hillary picked that squirrel kaine as VP. Who the hell was he? They have a bunch of unpopular geezers now as “leaders” . We cut off the head of the snake and I think the whole damned snake is dying. They don’t even have a chairman. The guy running believes in sharia law? They lost blue collar for 20 years!!
I see Trump as the most beloved of any president in our history. After 8 years it will be one of the boys. Never again will we go to a president controlled by K street. ( they are selling homes like crazy as we speak!!)
Actually it 1 story being endlessly repeated. Standard Fake News procedure. Have one stooge run out and create a lie. Then all the little fake news organs endlessly repeat and distort the lie hoping if the lie is repeated often enough it become perceived as truth.
It had best not go below 306.
They need to get rid of him for his own good.
This will be about the 57th presidential election, and there have been around 85 faithless electors, an average of three for every two elections. There were none in 2008 or 2012.
If there are more than normal this time, I’d wager that more will be faithless to Hillary than faithless to Trump.
It will be 305.
If that is the case, I would like to see states pass laws that would see faithless electors charged with treason.
Stephen Christopher “Chris” Suprun.
He has been well and truly doxxed by gotnews.
There is already an impeachtrump.org domain registered. Guess where it's currently parked.
ACLU, I peeked. 8>)
They'll hack GPS so as to guarantee that he gets lost. But he'll show up right on time, having used GLONASS instead. Then you can guess what they'll say.
In some states they can replace faithless electors, Texas is not one of them.
These will become dangerous times because just being a Trump supporter and maybe even being white could make you a target for the rent-a-mobs. Remember Reginald Denny?
Protests failed.
Recount failed.
Muh Russians failed.
This is it.
It would be OK with me e if someone wants to be considered a faithless elector that it carry a jail term. That way it will only be done for the direst of circumstances.
That’s not good enough for me.
I want treason and the penalty it carries.
I do not want these people second guessing an election in any way at all, ever, for any reason.
If they can’t do the job, then award the votes automatically and eliminate these positions.
I am not interested in their f***ing opinion at all.
They are treading on dangerous ground.
May not be constitutional.
Yes, I understand that, and I’d be for amending the Constitution.
I love the idea of the Electoral College, I do not like the idea of rogue electors. Not one bit.
Can’t have both. Can’t have people who can stop a potential dictator and then not expect one or two of them to do something stupid.
