I believe she did get a good grade. I was proud of her for not shying away from a ‘non-pc’ issue. There are actually a lot of angles to dwarf throwing - some states have banned it, while some dwarfs would prefer to participate, to earn money. And all that was part of her presentation. A lot of kids would have been scared to even bring up the subject.

Yes. It’s just like the Progressives’ outrage at factory work in third world countries. Some Leftist finds out that Indonesian children earn $1 a day to manufacture expensive Nike sneakers and then the Leftist tries to “stop the exploitation” and shut down the factory.
The end result is that sometimes the Indonesian children become child prostitutes because “all the good jobs are gone” now that the Nike factory got closed.
Leftists don’t care. They just feel good because they “made a difference”.
Number one with them is always raising money. So what if there’s no possible way it can solve the problem or even put a dent in it. Just by showing that they cared by collecting and spending tons of OPM is the only important thing.
I once knew a Pakistani fellow who had a cousin back home working in one of these “sweatshops”.
