In Friday’s episode of ABC’s Last Man Standing, Baxter daughter Eve (Kaitlyn Dever) introduces her new boyfriend, Rob, to her parents. During a conversation with Mike (Tim Allen) before brunch, twenty-year-old Travis admits to Mike that he is a recovering alcoholic. Yikes! ---snip-- Eve then admits she and Rob didn’t really break-up, that she was lying about that to spare her parents worrying about her. She says, “He’s an alcoholic and a Raiders fan. If he becomes a Democrat he’ll become the Mike Baxter trinity of evil.” Mike responds, “He’s not going to become a Democrat now that he quit drinking.” Did you hear a rim shot, too?

Reading this little excerpt makes me glad I do not own a TV. This is what passes for entertainment?

The show is hilarious. Tim Allen is worth watching the show.
Tim Allen is a conservative. This show is actually a pretty fun show to watch. A lot of barbs are thrown at Democrats from Tim’s character Mike Baxter. This episode actually handled the subject of teenage recovery quite well.
It is a good show - we love love it. The conservatives rip into the liberals for most of the show, family and friends are held important, and whatever squabbles ensue always get wrapped up in a heartfelt way within the half-hour (or hour, whatever it is.)
I liked the show where Tim was asked to speak at commencement and started off “Ladies and Gentlemen...”
“Dad - you can’t say that - it isn’t gender inclusive!”
Dad wanted to talk about capitalism. Ends up with him going down with the daughter to Madame Zu’s original restaurant that she started as a new immigrant. Now she has 6 places employing lots of people.
The daughter on the podium then explains to the school that her Dad won’t give his speech, as the school is too PC.
“So with my dad cancelling, I have invited Madame Zu to speak.” (Implied that SHE would talk about the free market.)
He also confessed he was a Raider fan! Yikes!
Yes, it is a funny show and the reruns are great too!
That Halloween episode was hilarious. Vanessa dressing up as Kyle was just too much! Mike’s Trump was pretty awesome too.
Saw the episode. Don’t really know what the big deal is. For TV nowadays its a pretty good show about the only one I watch regularly.

You are correct,and he is a pretty nice guy too, been to his house and office on multiple occasions.
But I do NOT watch TV and haven’t watched a TV show since Forest Gump dressed up like a chick to get cheap fraternity housing, Bosom Buddies I think
I almost forgot, his Daughter is pretty cute too
It’s boring. Not to mention the barrage of left wing idiocy coming from the left. The writers must have watched a rerun of “All In The Family” and thought they had a brain storm.
