I tried on my lap top and find that the excerpts for any and all articles are still missing, however, at least the singular Freeper comment is now gone and no longer replaces the usual excerpt.

SandRat, I went into my account and played around with re-setting *preferences*. Got rid of the Freeper comment under every title, but still no excerpts are appearing under the titles.

To be clear, Mr. R., I am not clicking *on* the title. If that helps you advise. We are seeing one Freeper comment simply appear under EVERY title, on the FR Forum page for “Latest Articles”, without ever clicking on the title. It is very strange.

I did clear the “local cache”... although it did not say “local”, in my phone settings, but saw no change.
The rest, I didn’t really know how to do.

Also check that the brevity setting on the main forum page is set to “Text”:

Where do I find “Brevity”? I have only 2 options in “My Preferences”.
Both are options for 20 or 50 posts or comments.

I’m looking at a blue bar, and “Brevity” is found within it, and to the right. As I recall, you select “text” to fix what you see. This blue bar appears as I’m reading your post, but the blue bar also appears in “Latest Articles”.
