I always thought he was the best host of the Oscar Award ceremonies at the time, too.

Oh yeah, here's the one. Saw him perform on TV and he nailed it:

I'll betcha this guy has ________ more women than Wilt Chamberlain. I saw him at a Siouxsie and the Banshees concert once and he had an entourage of about 20 women with him.

BI had a fair pile of really great tunes; I think he’s one of the better “acts” (and it was more of an act then) of the 80’s.

An interesting fact about this song is that the title is inspired by the classic French film, “Les Yeux Sans Visage” (Eyes Without a Face). Perri Lister even sings the French translation in the chorus.

I love the song & the movie.

Unfortunately, this song reminds me of a murder that took place in Northport, New York in 1984. One kid stabbed another and gouged his eyes out. A radio station played the song about that murder. I knew the kids involved. The song has never been the same for me since.

I read his autobiography “Dancing With Myself” two or three years ago and it was pretty good. (So was the one written by John Taylor of Duran Duran).

My favorite Billy Idol has to be his cameo in David Lee Roth’s “Just a Giggolo” where he gets electrocuted. Yes, I know it wasn’t him, but it was funny.

He was supposed to have a much bigger part in that movie.
I think that he broke his leg or something...
