I don’t think a deal is done or even imminent, but I’d like to see this fight happen.

I'm pretty sure it'll be whoever pays to watch this. If this is an MMA fight, Floyd goes down - but there's no way he'll agree to this. It's probably boxing, and in that setting McGregor has no chance. The idea of a guy who isn't a highly ranked pro boxer getting through Mayweather's defense is laughable, even at his age, and I'd have to see McGregor take a hard shot from a pro boxer to believe he could stand up through it. Mayweather will knock out McGregor by the fourth round at the latest.

I don’t so much mind the fight IF it’s simply Connor’s wish to see if He’s good enough to go toe to toe with a pro boxer- but I just get the feeling it’s a gimmick to hype the UFC more- I know we’ve had UFC against boxers in the past- but I wasn’t crazy about those matches either- I think making the transition from UFC to boxing would be easier than from boxing to UFC- but still- I suppose it will be interesting, but I expect it will be over wuickly- Mayweather the victor-
