Norway’s parliament has rejected a proposal to bring in a third gender category with the gender-neutral personal pronoun “hen”.
The proposal was part of a new action plan for lesbian, homosexual, bisexual, transgender or intersex (LGBTI), people put forward by Norway’s Labour Party.
But the reform was rejected by the Conservative Party, the Progress Party, the Christian Democrats and the Center Party — which together represent a majority of seats in the Norwegian parliament, the Dagen newspaper reported on Tuesday.
Jan Elisabeth Lindvik, leader of the Association for Transgender People, said it was only a matter of time before a third gender was recognized in Norway. …

Gender is applied to words, nouns to be specific, masculine, feminine and if they have a third noun gender it is neuter.
There is also animate/inanimate and rational/non-rational and personal/impersonal but those genders do not appear in the English or the majority of European languages so they can be safely set aside since this happened in Norway.
I’ve got a proposal. Why don’t we just refer to anyone that uses The LGBT tag (anything other than male or female) as “nutcase”. Much simpler and very accurate.

In Australia, people who did not feel they could be categorised as either male or female were from 2011 allowed to have an ’X’ rather than an 'M' or 'F' to describe their gender in their passport.

Do you know what's been driving the world in this direction for years? ONE ANSWER: American "culture" as exported every year from Hollywood to the screens of the entire Western World, and much of the rest of it.
Time & again you see quotes from producers of major movie flops - flops because they propagandize cultural change for the worse - that they're not worried about the fact their production costs far outweighed US ticket sales & potential DVD sales. And the reason they're not worried is because their haul from overseas will undoubtedly be WAY more than enough to make up for the pathetic US income.
What nobody seems to ask is: What might be the long term effects of decades upon decades of Hollywood's vilest trash being consumed by the rest of the world?
We're seeing it here.
The LBGTQs in Norway had better be careful about using identifying pronouns which could put a target on themselves for their new muslim, queer hating immigrants.
