James Bond is half-Scottish and half-Swiss, so I don’t know how they would pull that off.
That being said, I think Elba could pull off the role, but the problem is reconciling it with Ian Fleming’s bio of Bond.

I like Idris Elba Have watched all the “Luther” series, and just watched him in “The Take.” I haven’t watched any James Bond movies in years. If he’s going to be the new James Bond, I might give it a try.
