Repairing a headless android in the Alien universe is one of those really bad movie ideas...
I had hoped the next alien movie would be on the engineers planet. Instead, we get a 2 minute glimpse and the rest is just an alien #1 rehash
I think there are two “Davids” The one with the Covenant expedition and the survivor of Prometheus.
If I were to hazard a guess, I’d expect their identical physical appearance to play to a twist in the movie.

But I wonder what the filmmakers will do to further ruin the franchise?

I hope it beats Prometheus, which was a let done. Saw the trailer but we seem to be returning to the old “see an Alien, run and scream” formula. I hope this is something different.
It also looks like we are going to get a homosexual agenda, as well. There is a male couple, don’t know how much detail and additional on screen time there will be.
