You are only offended by what you assume the ad is trying to convey. No, I'm offended by what the ad showed. No assumptions are necessary. Judging from the comments at the link, I'm not alone.
I have no idea why you're so obsessed with defending that mess, so I wonder if you have ties to Hyundai. If so, then you can tell them this. As a Conservative I accept that I have no entitlement to a world where I'm not offended, but they have no entitlement to my patronage, either.
You can stand by what you said until doomsday. It won't change anything.

I just read at Bloomberg that Hyundai's (and Kia's) sales dropped 18%, biggest drop for all major auto manufacturers and worse than expected.
It appears I'm not the only one angry at this stupid commercial.
Hyundai. Apologize. Now.
