You can still find nuts that believe that the album cover was satanic.

No, really, from a fuzzy out of focus guy in the background.

One debunking site says it's a woman, another a publicity guy.

Church of Satan did have a lot of celebrities visit. Another weird connection to Anton LeVey is The Most Dangerous Animal of All: Searching for My Father and Finding the Zodiac Killer by Gary L. Stewart and Susan Mustafa. Great book and according to the author his father the Zodiac Killer was an early friend of Anton LeVey. I've also read that L Ron Hubbard was former friend of LeVeys.

Photo or not, I wouldn't be surprised if any celebrity or strange person was involved with LeVey or his organization.

Looks like a Motel 6 in Scranton where I spent a week one night.

The crowd scene photo on the back cover of the album is in the lobby of the Lido Apartments, 6500 Yucca St., Los Angeles.

They threw outrageous parties. They paid heavenly bills.

OK... it’s their endlessly played hits that suck so bad I want to smash the radio every time I hear one of their God-damned songs.

ENOUGH ALREADY, DEE-JAYS!!! It’s BEEN FORTY YEARS!!! FIND SOMETHING ELSE TO PLAY!!!!!!!

How about Trying to Get to You? It's the only song by the Eagles that Elvis Presley covered.
