Why did they move to Penn from Grand Central?
Pardon me, boy, is that the Chattanooga Poo-Poo?...............
Either Putin or Trump is to blame.
I thought it would be shangri-la since the smokers are gone. Imagine that.

Cuomo can't wait to bring it to the White House, he's further Left than Sanders and just as annoying as Hillary.
Privatize AMTRAK now. That will allow it to get itself out of the financial burden of running dozens of unprofitable train routes, and cut off dozens more of financially wasteful stops, which will allow the Northeast Corridor lines, from Boston to Washington D.C., put the company into profitability.
Unburdened from political demands, AMTRAK does have assets that by themselves can turn a good profit.
Then, improving Penn Station can be done as an investment by its owner, Amtrak, instead of waiting for local, state and federal politicians to dictate when and how THEY would borrow from the taxpayers to get it done.
Grand Central used to be the main hub.
They did not move Penn from Grand Central. They are two separate terminals serving different train lines. Penn serves PATH to NJ, LIRR to Long Island and Amtrak south (and now North also). Grand Central serves Metro North to Westchester and North and Amtrak north. Both also link with the NYC subway.
yep, I use Amtrak N to enter the city - it used to be GC but is now Penn.
