Totally weird. I just had an exchange with another Freeper yesterday about that movie after having not seen it since it came out, and re-watching it just recently.
DRS was an awesome flick, loved it! One of the rare movies I have ever wanted to see several times over the years. Usually once is quite enough for me.....
Didn’t know that Michelle Pfeiffer was such a home-wrecker, sad.
I turn 62 in less than three weeks.
Such coincidence, I thought of DRS just yesterday and wanted to see it again. I’ve seen it 3 times and could go with another round! Usually I never want to see a movie again.
Funny movie. Most movies Steve Martin does are funny. Just wached the one this winter with Goldie Hawn. She takes over his house. Forget the name now.
Dang been meaning to buy that dvd. Now the price will go up.
I know Steve Martin is a bit of a liberal weenie, but I still find him funny. I contrast him with Chevy Chase, who I abhor. I guess the difference is...Steve Martin has talent and doesn’t shove his ideology into his customer’s faces.
That I know of...
I loved watching Dirty Rotten Scoundrels again! Ruprecht with his eye-patch and fork...
I was 62 in January.
I hate it when I see people dying same age as me...........
Sad. A talented person with a wholesome beauty passes too soon.
Yeah, unsettling.
Was it “The Out-of-Towners”?
Never saw it, but...Ebert really panned it...which means it is probably entertaining!
Gonna watch it!
It’s one of my favorites too, and she was great in it.......This one saddens me.
Also Steve Martin plays banjo which should not be held against him.
Ah...I see Red Badger got it right...so I will watch that one!
I read the local obits in Sunday paper and scan the ages first...................weird?...........
Well since there are so many liberal weenies in Hollyweird it’s hard to avoid all of them unless we simply don’t watch movies.
TV I have just about completely excluded from my life for a very long time, but I do love movies.... but I don’t go to a movie theater more than 3-4 times per year now, it’s mainly classics for me.
The most rabid Hollyweird stars I pretty much boycott, though. I won’t see anything with some of the most obnoxious left-wing stars.
Why? Is it hot or dirty?...............
