After you jump down from the moral high ground you might have a gander at pragmatic.
In other words, what you advocate might be right, but holding that position might actually find you reversing progress. Do you want to go in the other direction?

I’m thinking your words apply to you, not me. I can’t imagine a kid that has lived here from kindergarten through 12th grade can all of a sudden just be deported back to El Salvador, Venezuela or Nicaragua or where ever.

You are choosing an extreme example and misrepresenting how it would happen.
And, no, it would not be that big a change to move back to El Salvador from LA.
The distinction between civil law and criminal law is lost on a certain set of xenophobes in our midst. Setting foot in the USA without authorization is a matter for civil law to address, and it will in due time. Committing acts of violence within our borders while being unauthorized to be present is a criminal matter, and that is being addressed now as never before and as it should be.

I have to agree. I mean, let’s concentrate on getting rid of drug runners, crime lords, gang-bangers, and other violent types first. But I would say that “Dreamers” ability to stay in the country should be dependent upon staying in school, passing classes, and staying out of gangs and other trouble.
Not only should we get rid of them we should deport the children of illegal aliens too. The 14th was specifically written to exclude people not formally under our laws as a Sovereign nation from birthright citizenship.
To hell with dreamers.

Dreamers have been deported since Trump took office....yet there is this rumor they are not being deported....smart move!

Yep, that is it exactly, that sums up my position. There is a lot of support for this position, even among those that very much don't like Trump on this issue.
I know people here illegally from countries where it is very harsh, like those examples. I did not pick extreme situations to make my point. I picked ones I know of.
And yes it most certainly would be difficult for a teen that has known nothing but life in the U.S. to all of a sudden be dropped in a place like El Salvador.
I am as upset about this issue as you are but you have to take a more realistic position if you want to make progress.
Actually, I am only addressing your argument.
Of the illegal immigrants, not deporting those who were brought as young children is reasonable as they did not have anything to do with it.
In actuality, though, a person who grew up here would have a huge advantage if he moved back to his home country. This person could easily get a good job as he knows English and Spanish, both cultures and would be better educated than most.
There may not be new illegals but what of the 30-60 million already here?! I’ll measure progress when they leave, first the dreamers, then their families. How about measurable objective: Go into Walmart and not need to speak mexican spanish?
