European leaders vowed Thursday to defend the landmark Paris climate pact at a G20 summit next week, setting them on collision course with US President Donald Trump at what is expected to be a stormy meeting.

Leaders of Germany, France, Italy and other EU economies acknowledged their long standing ties with Washington but said they would not give in on “existential” threats like global warming.

They also stressed the importance of keeping markets open, warning that the protectionism and isolationism symbolized by Trump’s “America First” stance won’t solve global problems.

On the biggest challenges, Europe was now “a reference point,” said EU Council President Donald Tusk after the G20 preparatory meeting hosted by German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

The EU stood for a rules-based international system, he said, vowing that “we speak with one voice” at the G20 summit. …

We speak with one voice??

We are a sovereign nation....and we WERE the biggest funder for the climate fiasco.

Trump did the right thing. Nothing is stopping the free market from going at it. But don't be surprised if the Negative producing subsidies get cut off.

“... setting them on collision course with US President Donald Trump at what is expected to be a stormy meeting.”

Uh, what collision course? The US wasn’t bound to anything and they can’t force the US to do anything. They can keep with the accords if they want. Where is the collision course?

These clymers are getting overrun-—by their own doing-—with 7th century savages, but they only care about going against Trump. I guess money is more important than the lives of their citizens.

These countries have been invaded by Islam.
Their women and children are savagely
and repeatedly raped ... and some even sold.

And what do these cowards do?

They point to carbon dioxide, rather than
the pollution of their own countries.

They’re going to fight Trump over our climate that the sun controls? They might as well declare they are going to fight the sun.

There is nothing to “fight.”

You waste your time, resources and treasure on controlling your people and creating economic doldrums.

We won’t.

Period. Done.

So...What exactly did Trump do?
Did he instantly force companies to pollute more.?
No.
He simply refused to agree to fund everybody else.
The US is doing its own thing.
Our emissions have not changed.

When honest historians eventually write the history of this century, they will be as perplexed about Europe’s willing surrender to the Islamic hordes as they are to Europe’s idiotic slavish adherence to “global warming.”

And people asked how the Jews could passively go to their deaths in such numbers, and how so many Germans & other Europeans could go along with it.

The G20 and G8 were a important instutions in developing cohesion of Western and developed countries in the face of a competing system, the Soviet Union. We needed to coordinate security and trade policies to strengthen the entire opposition to the Soviets. Now, cohesion is not so important. If Germany and it’s 4th Reich want to go another way, meh. We’d like them to be with us, but it’s not like the Russians are going to take them over and unite against us. It’s ok to disagree. They just need to know we’re not coming back.

Our biggest problems right now are China and the Middle East. On that, we don’t need their help and they don’t have our back. So, we need to cozy up to regimes that are in line with our values and interests, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, and to some extent, Britain, and await the collapse of Europe into muzlim chaos, Poland may have to save Europe once again.

Climate change? Give me a break. It’s what declining rich nations worry about.
