Queen and Country...I’m thinking Bohemian Rhapsody with a couple of banjos.

Now that’s an opus worthy of the name!

Great article, from a poor sap who realizes his nation is FEBAR (feminized beyond all recognition).

I believe Britannia is special in the course of human events. She’ll rise again yet, God willing.

I wonder who ‘Revanchist’ is? I had never seen this website.

Wonderful essay. Reminds me of why I became an Anglophile.

I sent that article along to my British wife and she just loved it. No weak-kneed socialist here ... she took to her guns like a duck to water. She has two shotguns, two rifles, and two handguns, and she practices with them (and with me) often at the range. She can’t handle the heavier stuff, using 410s and lever-action 22s, with her .22 and .38 revolvers, but she’s an extremely good shot.

When a Brit writer gets on a roll, buckle in and enjoy the ride.

“A superb example of creative writing with the English language “....YEPPER !!

Visiting son in London was warned to walk out to left, not to the right...Muzzy Territory...And sure enuf one could see the broods of children and the completely covered mothers....
The store keepers made no effort to smile, only to their Muzzy friends..not to Americans obviously....

It is a great article mate. However, I prefer the masculine FUBAR (they both mean the same thing). Now if we could just agree on what side of the road to drive on. How do we compromise on that?

None better..birthplace of the language. We are rank amateurs in comparison. Love their cursing and derogatory terminology. And thank you for the Beatles, bagpipes and scotch whiskey!

Excellent piece. Right up there with Steyn. Anyone know who is the writer?

Especially true if you read someone like Chesterton or Dickens or even Wilde. Brilliant wordsmiths who make it look so easy ...
