That’s a lot better than making them walk the plank!
Leftist or not, homosexual or not ... I do love reading Camille Paglia’s books and writings. Utter brilliance on a scale equal to William F. Buckley, Thomas Sowell, Larry Elder, and Mark Steyn.
Yep, all I say when someone brings up the issue is;
Good luck on changing that chromosome thingy.
All of the “studies” programs are essentially political-ideological programs of the left. Womyn’s Studies, Afro-American Studies, Ethnic Studies, Peace Studies, Gender Studies, Moronic Studies......
They are all pasted together by leftist ideologues who want to create little academic silos of propaganda.
“the escalating prescription of puberty blockers” for children”
I had to look this up and here’s what I found:
“puberty blockers are used to provide transgender youth with time to further explore their identity, while halting the development of their predisposed sex characteristics caused by the onset puberty.”
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Puberty_blocker
Granted the source is wikipedia, but it’s in line with other sources that I checked.
This is pretty sick.
She is someone with whom you will have to intellectually keep on your toes if you want to argue. That is opposed to the typical modern liberal where you have to physically be on your toes to avoid being hit with a bike lock.
Imagine the additional war crimes counts if Dr. Mengele had chosen Jewish and Gypsy children for “gender reassignment therapy” during his stay at Auschwitz.
Sickening indeed.
Unfortunately, that demographic status increases the moral weight of her arguments with liberals, whether she’s calling for more respect for men doing the hard dirty jobs that support civilization or criticism of transgenderism.
Transgenders are among the most sexist jerks on the planet. If a woman doesn’t live up to a 1950s feminine stereotype, she’s not really a woman. The mentally ill man in a dress feels free to criticize women in pants, their makeup, their hair, their jewelry, their mannerisms and others give them a pass for it. But he does it to increase his own feeling of superiority and “femininity”.
Luckily he didn’t have the opportunity in Brazil.
I don't think there were any Gender Studies programs until Obama came into office and wanted to celebrate Michelle.
It might not have gone any further than John slapping Brian around a few times.
Whatever is true, they take the opposite stance. It’s as simple as that.
No dispute John Lennon was a talented poet and musician...As usually happens in our celebrity preoccupied world, his talents and fame brought him a certain notoriety that caused his opinions to be sought after by the media types...
So, being human, and subject to all the character faults humans are predisposed to, he succumbed to the flatteries and freely held forth for public consumption on subjects he knew no more about than the guy who bagged his groceries or delivered his mail...
It’s as if expertise in one narrow field automatically somehow conveys to celebrities, politicians and titans of industry some special understanding the rest of us hoo-hoos in the hustings don’t have, in any other area of human events they decide to spew their nonsense...
This is an all too common syndrome today...The wealthy and famous, by nature of their wealth and fame, are sought out for their opinions...And the fact their heads are in permanent rectal defilade on most topics other than their own narrow fields, doesn’t slow them down a bit...We NEED to know what Bill Gates and Steven Hawking think about Globull Warming, don’tchaknow?
Camille Paglia is at least an honest liberal with a grounding in logic...Unlike Bill Nye “The Science Guy”...In my perfect world, they’d all just STFU...
I heard he was. Makes sense to me if you watch and listen to him.
Haters gonna hate... /sarc
