Yep, but that is the kind of shallow person who would “scrimp and save” for a single $30K party. What is it with these young women that they spend so much time and money planning the wedding reception but spend no time planning the marriage?
Good idea.
Getting married and being married are two completely different things.
Starting to wonder about this story, as I remember a very, very similar story being posted here some time back. Even had the girl going on the honeymoon trip with the mother in the place of the hubby.
I can predict what happens next. At least one homeless person gets the idea that the catered dinner left him sick and he needed hospitalization. He will then sue the hosts, the hotel, the caterer and the hospital in hopes of winning the lottery.
She better hope its not a person of color.
Yup.
Means nothing of any sort.
If ... say, he caught her with another guy ... or another woman .... would she be broadcasting it?
Or the other way?
Both would look the same from the outside.
Nope. Most venues/catering have the terms that the balance is due 2 weeks before the event. This way they don't get stuck for the cost of the food etc. Depending on the menu for the food, sometimes it has to be ordered and paid for 1 to 2 weeks in advance. Cancelling a week before doesn't allow the venue to recoup the money they're losing by not being able to rebook another last minute 170 person wedding.
Or a massive brawl breaks out when they run out of bourbon-glazed meatballs too soon...
Sounds to me that the groom just dodged a real bullet with this one.
Meh. She’s young-ish, white, and thin. However, she’s kind of man-faced behind that 80s hairdo.
i always say that.... if you would only put that much work into your marriage as you did the wedding day, nobody would divorce. It’s crazy to spend that kind of $$ on 1 afternoon, but as long as they aren’t asking me for $$ it’s none of my beeswax.
Speaking of Laz, where is he?
I agree - a lot of things don’t smell right with that story.
You must have alternate information, because that’s not what the article says.
***When its over, Cummins said shes leaving on her honeymoon Sunday to the Dominican Republic alone before returning for classes at Purdue.
Im going by myself. Im nervous, but I feel like it will be really good strength-building for me. I want that time alone.***
It is not that simple. Consider that the vendors and their suppliers likely turned down other engagements on the date due to this booking. No possibility of last minute booking to recoup alternate revenue.
While a cake and fresh entrees are prepared shortly before an event, the ingredients are ordered and purchased in advance. A vendor won't last long when the suppliers are stiffed.
She probably has many STD’s. The guy escaped with his life.
Yep
Sounds like she’s going to live out Dierks Bentley’s song.
- “Yeah, man you see guys walking down the street
Pushing shopping carts and you think they’re talking to Allah
They’re talking to them self
Man, no they’re talking to Elvis! Elvis! Elvis!”

Original sources generally keep the story updated as they get more information, vs TV stations regurgitating a some other station’s story.
