It is her money and she can spend it as she wants.

I applaud her for her heart and generosity to the homeless. Reminds me of the Master’s great feast in Luke 14, it was the poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame, who came and filled the Master’s house so the doors were shut because their was no room for selfish.

Not really. These type stories get buried after a few years as websites get upgraded, broken links, etc.

That’s what I was thinking too. “Please help me celebrate my near-miss of marrying that jerk what’s-his-name. I still will have about 85 empty seats, so if you have an elderly or needy or sick neighbor that you think would enjoy a night out, please include them in your RSVP.”
